Others took a couple of days to get back to me with higher prices. I thought I needed the Valley Cover and Rocket Cover done because that is what I had been told by to previous mechanics. I could only take my car there on the weekend. The best part is they let me drop it off Friday night to save the hassell of doing it Saturday morning. They called me to let me know that it wasn’t the Valley Cover the Rocket Cover was fine it was leaking through somewhere else. I can’t remember because I didn’t write it down. I was quoted $680 and $750 from the other quotes that I received back. I walked away on paying $179. All I can say is that Eric and his team are honest. Before taking my car their they quoted me $520 to do the other jobs that I thought needed done because I was told they did. So I would have still come out in front. But the honesty of not just doing the work for the money and just fixing the problem they have found is a big bonus in my book. Car is still working great and the best part no more leaks. Booked a service for 8am Saturday morning. Got to the office and Mark kindly took my contact details to update me on their progress. An hour later he called to let me know what needed to be done, which was very reasonable. By 10:15 I had picked the car up and it performed so much better than before. We called in as our car made horrible noises 15 min before they closed, we were located next door. We have a Rooftop tent so it was impossible for us to sleep in the city so we needed someone to check our car before finding a place to sleep. Well they said no and left us in the unfortunate situation that we were in. A quick lock to tell us, wether we could drive on without having to worry would have been enough but no help from Auto Masters.
I don’t know about their service but this reaction to a customer in trouble is worth 1 Star.
No wonder you couldn’t find my name in your system, as you didn’t even want me to come to your place.
Thank you to the auto master team who overhauled my car and repaired it the same day. Unfortunately one of the replaced parts had a manufacturing defect. The after-sales service was of high quality. The garage I was with got in touch with auto master and we were able to change the part in question. Thanks to auto master for the follow-up and the reactivity.
I went to the store to ask for a leaking problem that my car had because in the recent basic service i did a week before while i was in Melbourne the mechanic there left the car with a small leak on the oil’s reservoir’s screw. Auto Masters had the time and disposition to check the car immediately, and they didn’t charge a penny for the job. I wouldn’t doubt a second to take the car next time to do a service to them since i saw they’re real and honest.
Great service!! Travelling through but wish I had these guys back home. Highly recommend.
