a month agoI had an appointment 2 weeks ago to freshen up my balayage and was very excited for it giving all the recommendations and good rates. But unfortunately the result wasnt what i was expecting. My roots are completely the same as before the appointment. They told me that it was gonna show after some time (which I’ve never been told that since i get my hair dye) and two weeks later its still the same. All my colleagues and family didn’t notice any change on my hair. For 300$ i’m very disappointed that there wasnt any change on my hair ?. Usually when I get my hair done it takes 4-5hours, but this time it took 3hours im guessing thats why the color didnt work.3 months agoI always have an incredible experience at Renik from start to finish. The salon has a charming atmosphere, and the staff goes above and beyond to provide exceptional service. I highly recommend it to everyone!6 months agoJaymee at Renik has been doing a FANTASTIC job in the time I have been seeing her. I am very satisfied with her ability and with how friendly she is, and the great customer service I receive. Renik has a friendly, relaxed environment and I wouldn’t want to go anywhere else.a year agoI have been visiting Renik Hair for almost 3 years now. I have had several stylist look after my cut and colour every 6 weeks and I have never once walked out feeling underwhelmed. Each one delivers a consistent service. The team are equal parts professional, friendly and non invasive. Nothing worse than a hairdresser that yaps on when you really want to relax. They take an interest in you and ensure you feel pampered and relaxed. The lay down massage wash basins are an absolute win for me!! No more cranking your neck when your having a wash. Can not recommend enougha year agoI’ve been loyal to Renik for 8 years now and I’ll NEVER go anywhere else. I always leave the salon feeling like a new and improved version of myself after being expertly coloured, head and body massaged, my fill of refreshments and the world’s best cut, which styles itself, it’s that good! They know me and what best suits me. Tell them the look you are trying to achieve and they know how to make it happen on your unique hair. Thanks to ALL the staff for your talent and expertise, but special thanks to Jeremy.

Couldn’t ask for anything more.11 months agoThey will ignore you and leave you waiting hours while the staff play favorites Went in noticed there was a ton of people waiting 6-8(from what i could tell most were waiting for one person which is fine) there were 3 hairdressers (they were busy completely understandable) i waited half an hour another person came in they waited 3-5 minutes than got called up to go get there hair cut okay i thought must be a appointment so i asked one of the staff members if i could just book an appointment for another day they told me they “don’t do appointments” I waited an extra hour than a guy shows up just as one of the hairdresser were cleaning up to get ready for next customer and was instantly told to go sit in chair At that point i was done and just left My time wastedDon’t go there unless you are one of the favorites

Sydney | $35 |
Melbourne | $35 |
Brisbane | $30 |
Perth | $30 |
Adelaide | $30 |

Had my haircut here, showed the lady two photos of how I wanted my hair, explained how I liked to have it parted down the middle and pushed back.
She completely disregarded the two pictures and decided to cut it her way, way too short all the way around and front. By the time she started to cut it shorter, it was too late.
The conversation was a bit awkward too saying that she doesn’t think that foreigners should be allowed into Australia..
We approached management about the incident and we were told that it was very unlike the lady who cut my hair to speak like that/give a poor haircut.
Never to return.
Went into the salon with 100% certainty about what style of haircut I wanted. Told the hairdresser assigned to me and she tried to convince me not to get it cut as short, saying “you do know that once we cut your hair we can’t make it long again.” Like yes, I know how hair works. She even went as far as getting another hairdresser to come over for a “second opinion.”
The second hairdresser asked me if I knew that my haircut would look like a mullet (which is what I wanted) and then when I said that “yes, I knew,” she laughed and said in a condescending tone, “well the customer is always right.”
After that whole ordeal (which went on for about ten minutes), the hairdresser finally got around to actually cutting my hair, but every few minutes would ask again “are you sure you want it this short?”
Haircut was left messy and I ended up having to fix it up at home. I paid $30 to get told that I shouldn’t cut my hair so short and walked out with a messy, uneven haircut.
For clarification, I present female. If a man had walked in and asked for what I had, it would have been done, no questions asked.
As a hairdresser, your job is to cut your client’s hair the way they want it. You can ask clarifying questions about the style but you shouldn’t be trying to convince them to get a completely different haircut.
Hair dresser was helpful and kind..even gave gave few tips as to how to maintain hair
So professional
Job well done ?
Thanks to Lauren for a great trim
She actually listened to what I wanted
So kind and friendly
Super rude – I arrived with a disabled client in a wheelchair and stood there for a while, but as staff were busy, I sat down and patiently waited. Then someone else came to get their hair cut, and a staff member appeared out if nowhere, I informed her that we were waiting first, she rudely said “have you made a booking?”to which I replied, “no, we have been waiting here to make a booking”. Then she proceeded to say that I needed to make a booking, and there was a 40 minute wait. I said that was fine and then she just continue taking a booking from the person that came after us. Her tone was so rude, as was her attitude, the way she spoke to us was so uncalled for. It was so disappointing for my client to be treated like that. Discrimination at it’s best. More customer service training required for M.
