a week agoBought this lovely teapot for $12. I like Vinnies’ busniess idea to receive donations, then resell them and use the revenue to donate to people in need. Keep doing the good job Vinnies!9 months agoI like this shop more than Lifeline upstair. Prices are not super cheap. A book is $5 and a small plush toy is $2. However I can still find something worth buying at acceptable prices. To get there, it is better by car. There is a bus stop nearby though.
2 months agoParking outside…nicely displayed…nice customer service…only give it 4 strata not 5 because like other Op shop these days much of the stuff is overpriced. For example they sell Anko branded stuff ( Kmart brand) at the retail price. I go there for book.2 months agoPrices are a joke. Have to feel sorry for those in need trying to shop when this store marks up the price of Kmart clothes for more than they’d cost brand new. Do bettera year agoFound my dream wedding dress at this store. My seamstress said the dress had never been used. $30. Fit like a glove. Just needed to be taken up. Thank you Vinnies!

5 years agoThis place is great for ornaments. I saw a blue mountains pottery dolphin which was lovely. I found some great baskets and bunnies for an Easter egg hunt. I bought a beautiful amber necklace. This shop is great for shoes. I also like the way that the staff label the Manchester and bedding with sizes. It is so helpful knowing if the quilt is a double or a queen. I found a great set of drawers with a lamp and sweet boat too. It’s well worth a visit to this store!4 weeks agoGood some days, bad on others. Terrible car park. Unfortunately, there is a gate keeper who gives a big smile if you buy something and a scowl if you try to donate. I won’t be back because the bad experiences are depressing. When I went today they were overwhelmed as a big Salvos collection truck had arrived. So I had to extricate my car from there and didn’t get a chance to browse (their book selection has been great in the past). At Vinnies in Dural I was told “these items will sell!”, so I was able to unload everything in my car except the electrical goods, which Vinnies doesn’t accept. Perhaps a Salvos in some other city will get those eventually if someone I know happens to be driving a good long distance and has space in their car.
a year agoI love this opshop, not small, but not overwhelming either. Great selection of everything. Was so excited to pick up this vintage silk nightie for $1.50 (it was discounted). Yes, it had some stains, but I got most of them out, and for such a beautiful piece it was worth it. Staff are friendly and cheerful.5 months agoReally enjoy visiting here. Nice items on offer and beautifully organised. I think very well priced. Staff are really lovely too.a year agoUsed to be awesome. Not sure if there’s been a change of management or policy, but there is less than half the amount of stock now, and it’s no wonder why. In the 10 minutes I was there, I saw 3 volunteers end their shift carrying out giant bags of items directly from the sorting area. Would be really nice if the donated items could at least hit the floor first to allow customers a chance to see them first. All the stock on the floor was in average condition with high price tags, meanwhile the volunteers were buying up all the high quality items for bargain prices. Such a shame as it was the best op shop in Sydney once upon a time.

This was a really good find, my mother said we should have a look at the items here.
We found some clothes and stuff for us and always good to know that your helping others when you buy something from here.
Please if you have electrical items that still work than bring them along because you can still use them, if it doesn’t work than save the Salvos some money and get rid of it yourself through your normal council waste service. Same with rubbish furniture and big goods just go through your local council and this will save the Salvos some money as well.
Have some good bargains all the time, but yo u have to hunt for them…
If this review helped, please tick the like button and go on…. Thanks…
This store has lots of parking ! It’s great for furniture and lots of frames and paintings. I have found some great furnishings for my house here. The furniture is solid and in excellent condition. They have an excellent range of paintings. I found a beautiful embroidery picture from South America and 2 great lounge chairs one is nearly new and it’s leather! They have lots of kitchenware too. I have found some great bowls and mugs, originally from David Jones.
It is really a hit and miss, I found the homewares and crockery quite overpriced for example I was looking for jugs to use as vases and all were around min $15, I can get new ones for less than $10 so it is not worth it. With clothes most items were priced on the high end side, but you could find some affordable items. Bags were nicely priced, some dresses were quite pricey too. Is a big store so you will have fun looking around
Fitting rooms were really dirty, like I couldn’t tell when it was the last time someone sweep it and you could see all sort of yucky stuff in the walls.
Person attending the register was really kind and nice to dealt with
Not too far to walk easily from Seven Hills train station or bus stop nearby.
This busy large store has a lot to offer. There are lots of clothes for men, women and children. Most are of fast fashion and cheap brands such as anko, Miller’s, H&M and Misshop. Dont expect to find many high end clothes and shoes.
Homeware section here is my favourite as many things to browse. There are always new stock. A basket is $5. A small vintage glass tray is $2.
Prices of good quality furnitures are on high side. There are matresses and bed frames. Second hand electricals are near book shelves. There are large selection of jigsaws and games next to children’ s books.
Men’s suits seem like a good buy. Good condition and large quantity. Some good quality ones are around $35.
Large section for shoes and bag section.
Service is efficient but it is unusual that staff don’t fold up clothes for customers after they took money. Bring your own bags or you will be charged for getting one.
Ask for a loyalty card if you spend over $10. Get a stamp every time you shop. Use your completed loyalty card to get 50% discount on second handed clothes only. This card is valid for four weeks after you complete last stamp.
Plenty of parking spots near entrance.
Lovely staff. Large store. Lots of clothes and in good condition, sorted by colour and very very reasonably priced. Lots of parking.
