Top-Rated Hair Care Products Every Man Should Own
When it comes to hair care, men in Australia have a wide range of options to choose from. Whether you have a full head of hair or are aiming to keep your scalp healthy, there are products tailored to every need. Here are some of the best hair care products for men in Australia:
- Shampoo: A good shampoo is the foundation of any hair care routine. Look for a shampoo that is specifically designed for men’s hair and addresses your specific needs, such as dandruff control or oil control. Some popular brands for men’s shampoo in Australia include American Crew, Redken Brews, and Kiehl’s.
- Conditioner: Using a conditioner after shampooing helps to nourish and moisturize your hair, leaving it soft and manageable. Look for a conditioner that is lightweight and won’t weigh your hair down. Some popular brands for men’s conditioner in Australia include Aesop, Jack Black, and Bumble and Bumble.
- Styling Product: Whether you want to achieve a sleek look or prefer a more textured style, a good styling product is essential. Choose a product based on your desired hold and finish, such as a pomade, wax, or gel. Some popular brands for men’s styling products in Australia include Uppercut Deluxe, Layrite, and Baxter of California.
- Scalp Treatment: If you suffer from scalp issues such as dandruff or itchiness, a scalp treatment can help to alleviate these problems. Look for products that contain ingredients like tea tree oil or salicylic acid, which have antibacterial and exfoliating properties. Some popular brands for men’s scalp treatments in Australia include Paul Mitchell Tea Tree, Nioxin, and Head and Shoulders.
- Hair Loss Treatment: If you’re experiencing hair loss or thinning, there are products available that can help to stimulate hair growth and slow down the process. Look for products that contain ingredients like minoxidil or saw palmetto extract. Some popular brands for men’s hair loss treatment in Australia include Regaine, Kirkland Signature, and Nanogen.
Remember, it’s important to choose hair care products that are suited to your hair type and specific needs. Experiment with different products to find the ones that work best for you, and don’t be afraid to seek advice from a professional hairstylist or dermatologist if you’re unsure.

4 months agoGot a really top cut last night. Was worked on by Steve. Great bloke. We are of similar age and thoughts so it was nice to chill out , get a cut alongside an interesting and intelligent chat. Did not feel rushed in the slightest even though it was Thursday night late shopping and they were absolutely packed. Great system with the longer wait times to have the option of getting a call at the time specified to come in and get sorted. Whilst only slightly more expensive than a regular barber you get a drink complimentary and a much much more pro job.3 months agoHad the great pleasure today of finally finding a true professional who listens and works with their client to get the expected outcome. After many disappointing hair cuts the experience today was most welcome and enjoyable, you have a returning customer in me. Thank You.2 months agoAlways feel ripped off after getting my hair cut here. The barbers skills don’t match the crazy price that seems to keep going up. Expensive, rushed and low quality, trying to upsell. I used to be a regular but I am trying other barbers.6 months agoPartner went in for a cut throat shave on his head and face. Barber was great, and they had a good conversation, but $102! Really??? Come on. Wish he had asked pricing beforehand but have never paid over $50 anywhere else.5 years agoA relaxed and professional atmosphere. A sports bar/ barber feel with beer available. They also cater to kids with softdrink and ipads with cute little hairdressing apps. An old retro game table and waiting area. We make the drive from Allora for both Mr partner and son. Always happy. They provide a great experience. Highly recommend checking them out. You also book your appointment via an app and they call you 5 minutes before you’re ready so you can continue to shop while you wait. Also have a good range of shavers, cut throats, beard oils, shampoos etc.

Recieved a haircut today and whilst the service was excellent, I was overcharged a hidden $13 fee, from what was advertised. The outside board lists the price for a hair cut as $27 and whilst I was otherwise very happy with the service, charging a hidden fee as high as this is dishonest and it’s illegal without appropriate signage.
I believe I was charged a weekend fee and if I’m not mistaken a ‘long hair fee’ when my hair was about 6 or so weeks since the last cut and by no means long by any account.
Zak otherwise did an excellent job, but i don’t think I will be returning as paying $40 for a $27 advertised haircut is excessive (and the means under which it was charged was – in my opinion -dishonest). For reference I only get a number 2 on the sides and a bit off the top. My hair is not fancy or difficult in anyway to cut. It is by all accounts an average men’s haircut as I have straight hair that I’ve been told is very easy to cut.
Unless there has been some misunderstanding, I am frankly a little more than annoyed at the overcharge as I have lived in Brisbane for the last 5 years and never paid more than $30 for a haircut there for my kind of hairstyle as like many other people I just don’t have that kind of money.
To move back here and be charged this much seems unreasonable for Toowoomba and I unfortunately cannot recommend it at this price, despite how thorough and neat, with great attention to detail his services were.
I would like to state that I would have given this 5 stars if he didn’t charge me this much.
Sam.
Very good service and always smiling. My five years old son only cuts his hair with Zak’s. He is our preferred barber.
Such a great place! So much care, time and effort was put into my son and daughters haircut. Friendly service. Would definitely reccomend!
Excellent service. BUT was $69 for 2 ADULT and CHILD. Very expensive for a simple shave and I trim. I guess the photos make it look like people expect it to be a fair price – atheist make 2 pieces for styling and simple.
Great service, awesome with kids and can’t fault in any way. Definitely will be a returning customer. My son also loves his styled hair cut and asks to go there everytime he knows he’s getting a haircut
