The item i had purchased literally 2 minutes before i returned to your store was dirty and used!!!
Store credit is not an outcome i’m happy to accept in this instance as i don’t feel comfortable returning to your store.
Your response is this matter is patronising and is NOT appreciated.

This is my go to pharmacy for scripts and general medicine and my experience is always wonderful!6 months agoThis Pharmacy is fantastic! The staff have excellent customer service, they know me and look after me and the family. They’re late night and weekend availability is super convenient as a family with young kids. Keep it up Amcal Palmerston.2 months agoPoor & unethical service by female pharmacist, after contact with the owner I am disappointed by their failure to advise what action would be taken to address the issues that were raised or professional oversight and education… This pharmacist already had restrictions in place from AHPRA the registration board. You wait two years to dredge this up again. You are responsible for employing someone who was breaching ethical standards as per AHPRA… You responded thoughtfully at the time and then lied to me or perhaps failed to remember to act as you told me you would. Whatever I had moved on until you respond with meaningless words two years after the event. I won’t be using your stores again I won’t risk that type of verbal abuse from one of your staff again.2 years agoTerrific staff and always wanting to help if you need with a smile. I’ve been up here for 35 yrs and l can honestly say best chemist lve been too. Never waiting longer than 10 mins and you can look around without having eyes on you like you a a criminal like l received at chemist warehouse Durack. Always friendly, efficient & helpful service at this pharmacy. I’ve never been disappointed with the quick, professional & knowledgeable assistance given to me or my family. Why would you go anywhere else ?
The pharmacist is really nice and always supportive, I needed to declared an offical document urgently today, however, I was declined by a pharmacist in chemist with no reason. A Chinese pharmacist in Amcal just kindly help me with that. Really appreciate and recommend this pharmacy for my friends as staff are so helpful
Sales assistants should not be giving unprompted Pharmacy advice, especially for private matters. Visited 11/3/23 at 1500hrs.
Weirdly unhelpful staff who questioned why we needed a certain harmless baby product as if we were asking for hardcore drugs. Walked away very dissatisfied and won’t be returning.
I attended this pharmacy on Wednesday night with a complex order.
Firstly the security at this pharmacy is great as they control entry after hours so people don’t come in intoxicated or causing issues.
I felt bad about taking their time but a fantastic young woman came over and assisted me greatly. Nothing was a task and she had some great suggestions. She explained how the repeats work etc. I honestly can not find a word to describe how exceptional she was!
Also working was a really great bloke who again polite and just friendly. I actually for the first time felt like I was welcome in a business here in Darwin. Again just great interpersonal skills by all who work in this pharmacy.
It wasn’t a rushed environment or overcrowded as some pharmacies here are like walking through Monsoons Bar at 2am (just too crowded no where to move)
As my order was a tricky one I was there for a little while and noticed every person who entered the store got the same great customer service regardless of how busy it got or the questions they had. It’s rare to see people smile in a doctors surgery or pharmacy but literally people were actually happy in there.
The products provided were of a high standard and extremely well priced.
There is ample parking and it’s well lit at night so a great spot if you have mobility issues or maybe small children with you.
I live a distance away from this pharmacy but I will be more than happy to keep going back because of it’s great workers who I will proudly support their on going employment.
Again great store, great people, highly recommended
