Can’t remember the chick’s name or the young blokes name but definitely be back4 months agoI was not supposed to leave a review but today I had to go for my beard and as usual I thought of going to Yousefs but then I remembered my previous experience here and said nahh and then I could not stop posting a review. Honestly I have been here a few times and all are lovely but this lady on 27/03/23 around 1345hrs when I was there for my beard trim, was so grumpy, no smile, no hello and the way she was pushing my head back with no communication at all was not a good experience. I had to say ” can you please tell me when you want me to look up”. I explained her what I wanted but the end result was not good. When I tried to tell her that this was not what I was looking for , she said NO you told to make it this way. You can check the cctv as I explained clearly not just with words but my hands showing from where do I need it faded. I just got so mad, i said ok and left. Though she charged me only $10 looking at my mood, it was not about money at all but satisfaction. I am not sure why she behaved so, was it because I was Indian? Brown? No idea. But yeah she made me stop coming there forever. Sorry but I could not hold it any longer.2 months agoTerrible service Staff Girl from i got cut feels like she paying money to cut. What a angry face!! Between cut she started talking to another girl and leave me hanging there on the seat middle of the cut. And cut was also so bad. I accidentally happened to go here due to unhappy customer service from my previous barber. This gentleman here is the best I would say. He doesn’t work just because he has to do it but because he is passionate about it. So much of patience , so much of experience, gives enough time for you to have a complete satisfaction. The ambience is a cherry on the cake where you won’t get bored sitting, instead can grab a drink or play a game of pool.
I’ve always been reluctant to get my hair cut and it’s usually been a chore. But Gentleman Jones has changed that! The atmosphere and friendly staff have made every visit great. I’m always satisfied with my haircut and they have pretty good prices too! Overall the best barber in Townsville in my opinion.

Very disappointing, arrived at the start of my lunch hour with only two people in front of me and 4 barbers cutting. After waiting 45min I asked if it would be much longer and was told it’s now the barbers lunch time and they couldn’t even give me a time frame. So I had no choice but to go back to work without a fresh cut. Definitely need to communicate with your customers about extremely long wait times.

Swung by just on lunch hour and a great guy postponed his lunch to fit myself and my son in.
