a month agoPaid $18 today for drive through car wash, it did not even touch the sides or front or back of the car. Just washed the top only. Came out just as dirty as when it went in. Complained by ringing the manager who refunded my money but said that it will not wash the road dirt from my car. It was mainly dust and dirt, nothing majorly. Few insects on front.
Came back to Castlemaine and put it through the drive through car wash here and it came out pristine! Sorry mate but it is your car wash! For the past several years I have been going to Harro’s Car and Dog Wash at 22 Eaglehawk Rd. The car-wash is well maintained with clean bays, vacuums, touch free wash bays, as well as your standard DIY ones. I mainly use the touch free option and my car always comes out sparkling. Like a kid, I am always fascinated at the soap that that lands on the windscreen in all the colours of the rainbow. On the odd occasion I have used the DIY bays I have been impressed at the very high water pressure, it really does the job. The staff I have met servicing the facility (the owners?) have always been friendly, helpful and always ready with a kindly wave. It’s a real joy to use this car-wash.
Great car wash in a convenient location. You can’t beat the Turbo Vacuums, those beauties are faster than a knife fight in a phone booth! ?
Drive through wash was terrible, so need to ensure you wash your car yourself.
Vacuum cleaners appear to be an afterthought, there isn’t sufficient room to park and use them. In fact this whole place is cramped. If the facilities didn’t work so well I would have given 1 star.
Was a busy place of an evening. It seems like a bit of a young person hang out. We were happy with the car wash tho.
