This was a great place to get designs without having to home design or pay someone to do it. IKEA already has everything designed and the layout. All you have to do is choose or pick-and-choose. It gets crazy crowded. I really liked their artificial plants. This plants look very realistic and good quality.
This is only the third IKEA I’ve ever been to in my whole life and it’s located near the PDX airport. Hadn’t been to one in many years so I wanted to check it out and take my mother to it because she had never been to one before and it gave us something new to checkout. I was shocked to find a full child daycare center instead and a buffet restaurant on the second floor. This place is like a Costco combined with a Bed, Bath, and Beyond from Sweden. The variety and quality of home and office items they sell blew my mind. I wasn’t planning on doing any shopping but ended buying some new blackout curtains and a breakfast in bed bamboo TV tray with pop out legs. We also discovered some of the best and strongest smelling candles I’ve ever smelled before. I will definitely be going back in the future during the holidays for new candles and possibly for some newer furniture upgrades when needed especially with how reasonable there prices are as well. And to think parents could go shopping, drop there kids off at a daycare right at the front entrance, grab a bit to eat, and then grab there kids before heading home. Now that’s a relaxing shopping experience!

Staff is friendly, store is clean.
Ok so regardless of the inventory in the store I would like to give this place 1 star for the fact that it has checkout/ billing after passing through each and every isle of the store and it feels like 1-2 km walk. Why can’t you have the billing counter at every floor or every nook and corner of the store?? Think about the people who cannot walk, or are tired, with kids or the elderly or even disabled!? If the person just wants to buy 1 stuff, you make him or her walk like its never ending. You basically want them to buy more on their way to the checkout. This tactic is pretty sick I must say. I have attached pics for you to know what all the store offers but I really needed to bring this sick mentality across so that it reaches the management. Moreover if you are new then there is no way to know where to go, how to go, where is the cafeteria and how to move out. This store is directionless! While leaving trying to find the checkout, one of the staff finally handed me a brochure to show the way out (pic attached).Staff was also pretty less, you have to keep hunting in order to ask. Also the food area at the ground level is bad, the soft serve was too sweet and didn’t seem natural. We would have skipped if we knew that there is a food court on the 1st floor. So this was my experience of this place. I caution you to get in only if you are ready to walk (even if it is unnecessary).
I love browsing through their stuff. We don’t have a proper functioning kitchen right now and like their inexpensive stuff to have for the time being. They have good prices in ziplock bags with cute designs. You can’t go there without hitting the food court.
