Grateful for William. The other day my friend and I were looking to replace blinds in one of the rooms in my house. William came to our rescue. He showed us that the measurements on the box had a certain amount of give. He showed us the real measurements which is exactly what we needed. Back at home I was a Lowe’s customer and now that I am in California, i am switching to Home Depot. So far everyone I asked a question, they have been kind and helpful. Excellent service.

Has always home Depot is a good box. Hardware store. This particular trip we stopped off to get some pool chemicals and some plants for the patio. We were running low on some potting soil and supplies for the swamp cooler. It’s nice to find a one stop shop for all this

Staff was surprisingly helpful when I was looking for a dehumidifier. I stopped coming to this location for a couple of reasons, but it seems like they have turned a corner. I will come back for future projects I have planned for the spring.

We are contractor and pro member so we usually order bulk items online but Pro store doesn’t have all items so we have to pickup a few items from Home Depot Colma II store. If you need specific item or have question about the items most staff doesn’t have any clue. A few regular guys are good and they know their department very well but most customers will not get what they want unless they find it themselves. Staff are not good with up keeping the inventory. Most shelves are empty and not actively refilling the items. You have to look for the SKU # from boxes above the shelves.

We buy a lot of plants and garden items from here and you can see the selection is not very good. A lot of plants in the pot need soil and root balls are showing. Staff are not cleaning maintaining the walkway very well or sweeping the floor.

Used to love Home Depot. I’ve spent well over $100k at this store over the years. Now that everything is locked up you can’t buy anything. You can’t get anyone to help unlock the cages and then if you can find some to help you, you’re treated like a criminal since they think you’re going to steal the item they’re helping you with. Home Depot needs to deal with the real criminals and stop treating all their customers like criminals.

I went to this Home Depot on a Friday evening, I found the items I needed quickly, I stood in the line for more than 30 minutes, only to get a very unprofessional cashier with no customer service skills. I won’t be returning, they now have an Ace Hardware on Davis street.

This is a huge store! I almost got lost here 🙂 I liked that the range of goods is very wide. I did not like the fact that there was some chaos a bit. I don’t know what it’s about. But I wish there was more order in the store. And so I can recommend this place. Be happy!Thank you for reading!

It’s a little smaller than the average Home Depot, they layout is unique with a personality of it’s own since it’s in an older converted warehouse but they’ve got nearly everything you need, and what they lack in size they make up for in knowledge and simply being helpful. Traffic and parking trying to get in and out are tight and awkward but once you get there it’s greenlights and blue skies. Their seasonal plants hit the mark both on price and selection, I can generally get in and out pretty quickly. Love this store when I’m working in the Oakland/San Leandro area.

  1. They stopped me from using the self-heck out because I have more than five items!! They helped me to find the items that were looking for those. There are some workers around here ready for getting the job.

  2. Have not been in a home depot while. Nice that a the small tools are locked and staff is too busy too open gates so you can buy something. The fully armed security guard is a nice touch too. Does he shoot to kill if you take, say, a screw driver? When does management authorize the use of deadly force? Or does the rent-a-cop with the gun get to decide? I won’t be back.

  3. It’s extremely difficult to get help in this store. Some of the staff have no idea what they’re doing or talking about and would rather just talk to their friends and the others just look at you and keep walking. I was lucky enough to have eventually found some help in the store and the sales rep was very nice an knowledgeable. As a women it’s very sad that the women staff could not give me the time of day help get me on my way. The service here is reminiscent of Walmart, horrible.

  4. The checkout lines at this HD are longer than ANY other HD I’ve ever been to. They also don’t have clear signage about where to wait which has started arguments between people.

There is no reason to have self checkout lines with 10-15 people waiting in each line. I’ve stopped shopping here and go to Ashby Lumber instead.
