Very large upstairs location behind Staples and Home Depot. A real antique store with wide array of larger furniture pieces as well as other home furnishings. The vendors have merchandised the store beautifully and it’s rather easy to shop. I found the prices to be on the high side, but that’s just my budget. Well worth the visit.

Large antique store filled with many booths, tucked away at the end of a warehouse near Home Depot and Staples. Some of it was a little pricey but there were a good variety of items. Definitely took longer to get through than I expected. I would say it’s worth a look. Good array of chalk paint colors too.

We were looking for something to do before heading to the airport for a flight home, and found this wonderful antique mall! So many vendors, well lit, spacious aisles, clean displays and not musty smelling. There was even a “canteen” area to sit and have refreshments in. Wish we’d had more time! Very friendly folks!

This is absolutely the finest antique store in Nashville! (I include Gas Lamp Too as well, which is practically next door!) There’s a plethora of great booths which are full of interesting, unique and collectible items! I visit frequently, and I always find something to bring home! ?

The staff are also wonderful, knowledgeable, and always around when you need help!

Be sure to give yourself plenty of time, you’ll get lost amongst the treasures!

Super unique finds, great layout, nice open, clean and well lit layout. Really enjoyed browsing, wish I had longer and lived closer. They are very serious about their closing time and will literally yell at you to get out though, so make sure you give yourself plenty of time to look around.

From the outside the place looks very small, but once you go upstairs, you will find a huge selection. Do not mistake this place as a second hand store. Very much an antique store. Very pleased with my purchases. You will need time to see all.

Fiance called a couple weeks ago about renting wall space for a beautiful Leroy Neiman. They told him he needed to reach out to the owner. He has tried and tried AND TRIED and can not get a response or nothing. So we went in the store, spoke with 2 wonderful ladies. They apologized, apparently there’s quit a few people trying to reach out to this person to no avail. As a business owner you would think people would take pride in the business knowing people are interested. If unavailable, all you gotta do is respond. Other than there are beautiful pieces in the store.

Went to GasLamp Antiques to purchase a cabinet I’d spotted previously (sadly it was gone!). However, Cindy was an absolute joy and pointed me to an equally stunning Maitland Smith cabinet. This piece is a total show stopper and very well priced.

I spent a while poking around and noticed many high quality, collectable pieces in their store all at very reasonable prices. This is one of the better antique shops I’ve been to in the US based on collection and price. For people looking for nice antique pieces for their home or unique gifts, I suggest GasLamp Antiques.

  1. Yes, the antiques are definitely over market rate, but you’re paying for the experience. There are also a bunch of other shops and dining venues in the same building to round out your time there. I would recommend picking up a sandwich to go and making a short drive over to Centennial Park for a picnic lunch with a view of the Nashville Parthenon. I think it’s worthwhile to go once, but I don’t think there’s a need to go for a second visit.

  2. Eclectic array of antiques with multiple items from personal collections that are not for purchase. It’s definitely pricey, but for the items you are purchasing, it is reasonable. Everything is collector level with a few cheaper knickknacks thrown in. Awesome old building that was part of Marathon Auto at one time.

  3. This place was awesome! So much history and lots to see. We came because of the trolley tour. I want to come back, we didn’t have a bunch of time so couldn’t see everything, but what we did see was great!

  4. I took the hop on hop off bus tour and this is one of the stops. Had a blast. Probably spent about 45 minutes in the store. Love seeing all the finds that I’ve seen them pick up on TV. Well worth the trip and if I had not had to catch the bus. I probably would have stayed longer

  5. Loved visiting Antique Archeology when I was in Nashville. I mostly stopped in for some merchandise because of the connection with American Pickers but I really enjoyed looked at all of the antiques and vintage things on display. It’s worth the trip out there and they’re based in the Marathon Motor Works building so there’s great automotive history there and several other nice shops. Stop by the Tennessee Legend Distillery next door too for a free flight of whisky. We took the Old Town Trolley tour to Antique Archeology and that’s a great way to get there because they drop you off right at their front door.
