4 weeks agoThe people here are nice and want to help but if you are using their online ordering or are trying to get a human to answer your question they are the worst. Their IT department was built on a budget that saw change from a $20 bill. I placed an online order that totaled about $700 and they charged my card sixteen times, refunded it sixteen times before I canceled the order. Two days later I received the entire order. Later I tried to contact customer service about a refund on an extended warranty. There is exactly one option on their website that allows you to speak to a human. That human, while wanting to help, only had the authority to transfer me to yet another phone tree with a bot that refuses to permit talking to a human. Long story short; Lowe’s is structured to prevent customer satisfaction. Any human the public can reach has zero authority to solve problems. They are a management disaster that fails to do the basic task of management which is to empower the line workers to make the business successful. That means training and giving them the respect and trust to make decisions. Avoid this place.Response to “Owner” Note that the 800 number is exactly the number that eventually connects you to a human (after listening to a list of bot driven options) . That human has exactly zero authority or ability to solve a problem. They have elaborate apology scripts that we have all heard but no power at all. That person referred me to yet another bot driven phone tree designed to insulate Lowe’s from any meaningful assistance. Their brain damaged zeal in cutting costs results in a business model that leaves a customer high and dry.
Again I say AVOID THIS STORE.
9 months agoVery friendly regular employees on the floor. Super nice with the exception of the customer service desk ladies and self check out lady. Here’s my story if you’re interested! So, I bought 3 drapes that were sitting right by checkout on its own fixture and next to that another fixture that had Seasonal stuff except Xmas and had a sign that read – 50% off last marked price and there was also a cart full of bath/shower hoses and fixtures and stuff that had a sign that also read 50% off last marked price. So, the drapes I got were clearanced tagged at $10.00 each and an item that had to be manually overwritten and approved by supervisor. The item was in the bath cart and it wasn’t 50% off marked price they gave me 90% off that item. It took a while for them to manly override it and get the approval and I was late and had to go to the back and start work.
A few days later I purchased two more that were also clearly tagged at $10.00 but now the cart is gone as is the seasonal fixture. Left is the drapes fixture with a 50% off last marked price sign. So, I got them for $5.00 each. So again ring up at 10:00 but overridden to five each and approved.
I went in a few days later to Customer Service with my original receipt cause I was charged $10 each for the three and wanted it at $5 each. What a hassle and humiliating this interaction was! The young lady at customer service was even saying that she doesn’t understand why I think I should get any money back, saying that they weren’t 50% off even tho they up there with the other items cause it didn’t have it’s own sign, and basically that I should not be able to return them and repurchase and get a better deal.
By the end of the interaction I was frustrated and frazzled, I told her to just keep them. I want to return all three and I will be bringing in two more that I actually got at the correct price cause I can’t do anything with just two. After all that crap, She has the audacity to look at me and say (after making me feel like a scumbag for trying to actually get a deal on Christmas) if I still wanted them at the $5 each price then they will give it. So, I said there is no way that I am buying these now and I want them returned.
Knowing full well that these will go back out to the fixture after I return them and if I really wanted them then I will just buy them the next day at $5 each.
48 hours later…. all three are still sitting there on the fixture. I take them to the self checkout because that was all that was open. This time the $10 price stickers have been removed from all three. It seems the customer service took them off before they put them back. Of course the self check outlady goes to scan them and it comes up $10 so she tries to charge me $10 a piece for them and I said no they’re 50% off the clearance price marked which was $10 on these. She has to manually give me the 50% off because that’s what they did with the others so they’re $5 and she said no the 50% off is auto applied and they’re 10 dollars a piece. Which was what it rang up originally at and told her that I I had purchased two others of those same ones and got them for $5 a piece and she asked me for the receipt which I didn’t have so I said this is b*******
In the end, almighty God and the ladies of Lowe’s do not want me to have these drapes. So I walked away. Unfortunately I didn’t get to return the other two so now I’m stuck with two drapes that I’m not going to use LOL it’s pretty frustrating.
All they had to do was to return the three drapes off the original receipt and then ring them up again but override to the correct price. $15 would have been returned to my card and I would have left happy that I saved money and got a deal on something I really needed. But instead I left Frustrated and humiliated and Lowe’s CS peeps intimately lost the sale and made the whole experience horrible and humiliating for me. I guess I just was not meant to save money or get a deal.
3 months agoTerrible service. We asked if they would cut PVC baseboard, and an employee said “yes.” We bought a 12 foot piece. They took an extremely long time to find someone to cut for us, and we worried we were simply forgotten. When the cutter arrived, they told us they can’t actually cut PVC. The employee said they had a hand saw we could use, but he “didn’t know where it was.” He wasn’t interested in finding out for us.
After wasting more time in the returns line, we were refunded for the item. We explained our issue to the employee there, probably a manager, and he was sympathetic and apologized. He bumped this review up to 2 stars.
If you need any service beyond picking up an item and checking out, I would look elsewhere. Good luck at Home Depot though.
2 months agoToday when looking for things in the store, Robert was a great help. Older gentleman with silver hair and great attitude. Also another guy in the flooring area with reddish beard and tattoos helped pick something stashed way over head. They were awesome today!3 months agoThis store is currently (Q2 2023) very chaotic and difficult to shop in. Inventory is piled haphazardly around, especially in the lumber and building materials area, and employees are new and don’t know where items are stashed. Although the website states where items should be racked, they are often not there sending you on a wild goose chase. Employees are trying their best and generally friendly but you can tell this is a tough environment to be in everyday. It’s very difficult to find someone who can cut your material for you or use the forklift once you find the items you’re looking for.
I’ve often had to return items that were incorrectly racked and therefore rang up at an unexpected price.
Returns and online orders are handled at the exact opposite end of the store from the lumber and contractor checkout which is very inconvenient.
I don’t understand why Lowe’s makes it so difficult to link all your purchases to your account; it should be as simple as typing in your phone number like it is at Home Depot. This makes returns and digital receipts infinitely easier.
The only reason I shop here is because of a rotating category with chase rewards; as soon as it ends I’m going back to Dunn and Home Depot which are much better experiences as a customer and project manager.

a month agoI found a good variety of products at Home Depot, and the staff was generally helpful. However, the store layout was a bit confusing, and I had trouble finding some items. Prices were reasonable, but it would’ve been nice if there were more sales or discounts available. Overall, a decent experience.2 weeks agoThree years ago, I carpeted the downstairs recreation room in my house. Due to a water leak I have to replace the carpet. I didn’t have any original paperwork so I called Home Depot on Delridge to try and find out both the square footage and the type of carpet I had ordered years ago. I tried calling several times with no response from the carpet department and I realized I called at the busiest time of day so I hung up and thought I would try later. Much to my amazement, 15 minutes later, the phone rang and it was Ben from Home Depot carpet department. He had noticed my phone call in his system and realized that he had missed it and so he called me back! He researched my original purchase, told me the square footage , told me the price and told me about the current availability of that carpet. So very friendly and cheerful . Ben is in an amazing asset to Home Depot and I hope they appreciate him. The service he provides is just incredible, “priceless” as they say.4 months agoI was there over the weekend about 4 times. And I’ve had trouble at this store and all the others but this weekend there were 2 employees who were absolutely awesome! They worked in lumber and one was.a young man who was helpful beyond words! And the second was a young lady who was very professional and knowledgeable and the best part is they came up to me and asked me if I needed help AND THEY ACTUALLY HELPED!!! BEST TRIP TO HOME DEPOT TO DATE!a month agoUnderstaffed and they are storing large heavy items in the isles. Had to wait a long time for a capable person to use the fork lift to move the large objects in order to buy something. Spoke with 4 people over 30min.Dallas was helpful – brought this one star review up to three stars. Thank you!
11 months agoThis store has everything! Well, not really. I went here for a shovel once and they didn’t have any. But for some reason they sell wild hog repellent. Anyways, it’s a strictly middle tier incarnation of a big box hardware store with the middle tier inventory to go with it. All said and done, I do come here all the time because it’s the most convenient place and they have most of what you need.

Nice people working there, friendly customer service, have most of what you need to complete the job, good prices.
There are countless Lowe’s employees at this store, that are really nice, friendly, customer service oriented that we interact with on a regular basis in many departments, Iike Andrea in front office in customer service, James in cashier # 8, Editha in pro desk, plus so many other nice employees at this lowes.Even some of the managers are really nice
Lowe’s have gone thru so many changes, and thru difficult times, including covid , and all covid problems.
But through the years Lowes kept one thing certain, and consistent. A customer will always get great customer service. Some customers have some issues, but always observed Lowe’s employees do real good for their customers.
Lowes have really good excellent paint brand Valspar. It is thick, it doesn’t drip unnecessarily, drys fast,it applies well ,it goes smooth,it goes on surface very well, it is durable, it sticks very well , it looks really good when dried, and the price are good too.
Thank you to all Lowes
I don’t love how reliant they are on self check, but it’s true that I’ve had a much easier time finding staff help in the aisles recently. Great employees. I wish hardware stores would hire more people with subject expertise, but that is not a problem limited to Lowe’s.
Just terrible customer service. I needed wire shelves cut to size. There was a sticker on the rack saying to contact an associate to get them cut. I went to the “service” desk, and asked for help. First they said the saw was broken. Saw for wire shelves. After asking to see a manager, some one showed up and said they don’t do cutting. I said there is a sign. He demanded I show him. When we got there, he looked at the sticker and peeled it off, before saying to me, “we don’t do that.”
They let me install a hitch on my girlfriend’s car in the parking lot. I legitimately had no where else with as good lighting and the ability to grab a tool I inevitably forgot.
I went into Lowe’s for their Labor Day sale looking for a full set of appliances for my home. It was the last day of the sale so the store was understandably busy, which makes me even more amazed at the time and care the assistant manager Kris took in helping me and my husband. There were some challenges in getting the correct promotions to show up at the cash register and Kris really went above and beyond in making sure we left the store as happy customers. Honestly, I was pretty blown away at how great the customer service was, and we now count ourselves as loyal customers of this Lowe’s.
