Wonderful Store with great staff and cleanliness, charging stations upstairs and down, ADA private companion restroom available if needed ADA and wheelchair accessible inside and out! There is now a code needed for this ADA restroom ?, please see customer service for access.

This is a pleasant 2-level store. Everything seemed bright a colorful. Love the Target pups everywhere. I did find the grocery section a bit confusing – but maybe because it was my first time at this location? I walked around several isles trying to find what I needed. But it’s definitely a nice store. Smooth self-checkout. Store was clean and there’s a Starbucks on the first level.

I only removed stars because I felt like the grocery layout could have been better. And when I arrived home and opened my cheese, it was full of mould.

An average sized target, which is really quite big for a city location. It’s got two levels and all your normal sections (clothing, tvs, groceries, alcohol, games…etc.)

Fewer products than at Targets outside the city (eg. no high protein breakfast cereal, or protein bread). No bagging person, just one cashier per lane (you can bag yourself).

Took my 3 year old here to look around while my wife was at her doctors appointment. We did found a couple of things we like. The workers here made it feel very awkward. I can feel him breathing down my neck while I’m using the self checkout. Don’t go here.

Wasn’t sure what to expect after reading the reviews but was pleasantly surprised, they were out of a lot of ice cream but otherwise seemed pretty stocked up. Nice desert wine selection, wasn’t expecting that at a Target of all places. It saved me a trip to another store. Cashiers were helpful, no complaints there whatsoever.

The police did have to come escort out a homeless woman who was being disruptive, but that’s a San Francisco thing, not a Target thing. They close super early and it would be nice if they were open later, but that is also a San Francisco thing. A lot of stores here close shockingly early compared to locations in other major metropolitan areas, but you only have to look around and… you get it. Just a sign of the times.

I am happy this is close to where I am staying so I can save on eating out. I was surprised to see a lot of empty shelves, but this seems to be a global issue. What really surprised me though is the many daily items behind lock and key. I asked one staff member if they have a problem with people stealing Pepto-Bismol (because it was behind glass) and she said that is why it’s locked up. ? Definitely not something I am used to seeing where I am from! Oh and the security, so many of them…

Target needs to lower their prices just a bit. Starting to get a bit ridiculous how expensive it is to go grocery shopping and please stop putting everything behind glass where customers can’t grab the things they need without having to wait very long for an employee to come and help u get what u need that’s behind glass and then have the audacity to not give me the product and tell me to ask for it at the register when I’m not even finished doing my shopping and wanted to take a look at the product that I AM PLANNING TO PURCHASE. ??‍♀️??‍♀️

Chaos. Locked up product. Lots of things out of stock. Class warfare makes life suck for regular people. We just want some sinus headache medicine.

5 Replies to 7 Target Superstore Locations in San Francisco CA with Top-notch Reviews

  1. Target had the car floor mats I was hoping to find on the shelf at an acceptable price in a clean well lighted store with all employee contacts pleasant ?

  2. I have tried to make this location work for me SO MANY TIMES because the location is convenient but I can’t take it anymore. Pretty much always a disaster area. It’s a toss-up if they have what you need in stock, and the associates at self service will just wander off for ten minutes at a time, leaving multiple stations blinking red while our frozen items thaw. I’m never coming back here again.

  3. There are so many reasons why I love Target and this Target in particular.

This particular Target is big, has great staff, wide aisles, easy parking, in a shopping center with other good stuff — House of Bagels, Michael’s, Black Bear Diner, etc., close to other shopping centers – Colma 280 and Serramonte which has another Target!, Kohl’s, etc.

    It’s right off 280.

  4. Haven’t been to this location in a while, but when I lived in The City, I would go the extra distance to use this location over closer ones because it’s was so much larger with a better selection (and in the midst of cemeteries, for atmosphere).
