a year agoThe best Hobbytown store I’ve ever been to. They have a huge inventory and the staff were extremely helpful. Was great visiting with the employees and got lots of help purchasing my RC crawler. The tracks downstairs were an awesome added bonus.Keep up the great work!
2 months agoI used to love this place as a source of knowledge, as well as products. However, it has now become a rather poor example of a local game shop. The staff can be helpful, if you can pull them away from their gossip sessions regarding other customers. This is also exceedingly unlikely to actually get their attention until they’re done talking smack about a customer that is no longer around. If they’re doing that in front of customers, they’re doing that to ALL of their customers.
This place used to be great. Maybe they can fix themselves, but I’ll be shopping elsewhere until then.
6 months agoFantastic service and staff! Wonderful selection of hobby goods. Highly recommend. Was able to find the glue I needed to fix a figure with a helpful and nuanced tutorial. Great shop!4 months agoThis place is fantastic and the sheer size and diversity of products is astounding. Their hobby materials like glues, paint, plastic, etc is always in stocks and available. They have a basement here for participating in games and events. They even host a garage sale in the basement where people can bring their own things in to sell. The last one I went to was awesome and I found some rare and unusual items.8 months agoAmazing staff that helped me entertain my kids and helped them to pick out their own toys… while dad got his new Typhon 6s, big thank you to the staff for such a great experience. This is now the Hobby Town the kids say we have to go to, no others, so looks like we’ll happiky be new regulars.I would recommend this shop to any hobbiest or those considering starting a new hobby. Awesome staff, killer selection, and very fair prices.

2 months agoThere is so much stuff here! It’s cool to reminisce with memorabilia and toys that bring back nostalgia. If you lived in the 80’s and 90’s you’re bound to find something you had or played with growing up. Only downside is most of this stuff is sourced from previous owners so you are likely not the first owner or there may not be everything in stock. But over all a fun place to visit and reminisce.in the last weekWe bought a fully functional Mall Madness from here. This place is awesome. It’s a little loop of Nostalgia. They have small collections of pretty much everything you could think of; Heman, Turtles, Street Sharks, Battle Trolls, McDonalds Toys, CareBears, GhostBusters, Thunder Cats, Trolls,Gumby, Alf, Gremlins, Boglins, Polly Pocket/ Mighty Max, California Raisins,Baby Muppets,Garbage Pail Kids.. The list goes on. So much cool stuff in here. Pricing seems reasonable.7 months agoSuch an incredible store. I would definitely recommend visiting this place especially if you love all things 80’s nostalgia. First time visiting was so pleasant and I swooped up some gifts and a packet of Dark Crystal trading cards for myself.a year agoAwesome nostalgia and collectibles shop. Great owners. Be prepared to spend some time and money in there. It’s worth every penny! They don’t advertise and have been in business on South Broadway for 10 years. Great little niche if you’re in Denver.3 months agoIf you recognize any of the toys, you’re old.? This place is awesome. It brings back memories, so yes, I fall in the previous category.

It is important to note that the operating hours may also vary depending on the individual store’s policies and local regulations. Here is some common information about toy store active hours in the United States:
- Mondays through Thursdays: Toy stores often operate from morning to evening, typically opening around 10:00 AM and closing at 8:00 PM or 9:00 PM. However, some smaller independent toy stores may have shorter hours during weekdays.

- Holiday seasons: During major holidays, such as Christmas, Easter, and Thanksgiving, toy stores may have extended hours to cater to the increased demand for toys and gifts. Some stores even stay open until midnight or have special early morning openings on selective days.
- Online shopping: Many toy stores also have online platforms where customers can shop for toys at any time of the day. This allows for convenient shopping from the comfort of home outside of regular store hours.
It is always wise to check the specific store’s website or contact them directly to get the most accurate and up-to-date information about their operating hours. Additionally, during the COVID-19 pandemic, toy stores may have adjusted their hours to comply with health and safety regulations, so it is important to be aware of any changes before visiting.

Easily one of the most complete and inclusive game, magic, cosplay, geek culture stores I have ever visited. The top floor has costumes, a dedicated tricks store, baubles and novelties. Downstairs is dedicated to games of myriad types – everything from roleplaying games through Magic the Gathering to recent releases (and every expansion you can imagine).
They host game nights in a pretty sizeable space downstairs on a weekly rotation, so I definitely would like to come back for one of those.
What a fun spot.
The wizard chest is an absolute gem hidden in Denver. This place is located right off of Broadway with offstreet parking and has an amazing entrance. You can get all sorts of cool costumes magic trick, Harry Potter gear wigs there’s all sorts of board games, dungeons and dragons stuff Rubiks cubes dice Star Wars memorabilia Pokémon magic the gathering all sorts of card games. This place is like a real castle when you walk into it it’s on like anything you’ve seen before. I would recommend this 10 out of 10 if you were visiting Denver.
My husband and I walked in here just to browse, but ended up staying for way longer than planned because this place is just so cool! Huge costume selections – from year-round Halloween-type outfits and accessories to cosplay and more. Downstairs is chock full of every game you can imagine, and an entirely separate area for DnD things (which made my husband geek out). Absolutely love this place and came out with a few funky items!
