Complained about the result and was offered a credit. When I tried to claim the credit, there was no record of it.
Mishandled twice- not going back.2 months agoThey don’t even change the bucket or sponge between cars, they just keep using it until it becomes brown like mud…now my pristine paint is covered in microscratches. This is why we can’t have nice things.

By three, my wife was looking to call the business to find out where the car was. We got the car back around 4.30 that afternoon.
Not happy with the job: We booked the job in (wash and polish exterior paint and bullbar). What we got was a light detail of the interior and exterior. The bullbar was not touched.

Always come to Carlovers at Port Macquarie. The two owners are very friendly and offer great customer service and the two boys that were working today were also very good. If there are any issues with the wash, they let you go through again. Highly recommend!
EDIT: Had to edit unfortunately. The kids were doing their best to get off the tree sap, but they had actually gotten it off pretty early and been scrubbing at small paint chips and now I have large scratched areas in two of the paint chip areas which will cost me a bit to repair. It was an accident but just advising as I’m not sure what was used that created the scratching and removal of paint or if it was from sheer elbow grease, but I think that will need to be reviewed as I have permanent damage now.
This is the only car wash that I will use in Port Macquarie. The service is fantastic and the staff are so friendly and helpful and have great attention to detail. The young man Graeson is always such a pleasure to deal with.
There is nothing wrong with the facility or the equipment, but I did find it reasonably expensive to wash your own car there. Maybe I didn’t wash fast enough, but $28 does seem a bit steep to me.
