Wasn’t impressed with the McFlurry or the sundae! Nothing like the container shown online, or in-store! Didn’t look anything like it, and seemed a lot smaller serving! The picture is very deceiving! We were let down! It felt like no effort was made. Very little caramel sauce, well below the top of the small container! The McFlurry was also below the container fill line, with a flat lid on both! How is this even a Sunday!? Let alone the McFlurry in the same plastic container with lid!

Food was cold. Looked like it had been cooked to an inch of its life. Burger no sauce or mustard. Salad had no option for dressing. I’ll be surprised if I don’t get food poisoning. Thanks Maccas!

This is how much coke you can get “because of the machine settings”.

Why your machine can fully fill the cup back in 2021 and now it can’t? And why when I visit some other Maccas around Hobart and their machine can also fully fill the cup?

Twice in a row yet weeks apart we have gotten a coke and it taste like carbonated water. Either they watering down their coke to save syrup costs or we were super unlucky and got the end of the syrup bag

I was feeling cheeky (which is nothing new for me) so I decide to go get some Maccas for dinner. Going through drive through wasn’t that bad but did have to wait a little while for my meal. The kind gentleman serving me went out of his way to apologise for the wait which was nice but unfortunately I did not receive the burger that I asked for. Well it is also my fault because I did not check the bag before I drove off, its the attention to detail that matters. I love me some maccas but unfortunately felt a little let down by North Hobart McDonalds:( Still ate the meal though:)

  1. Mures Lower Deck had outstanding service. The food also came fast and cooked to perfection. My favourite dish was the spicy mussels and the chicken nuggets and calamari. The fish was also a delight to our mouths. I highly recommend also trying the delicious ice cream. There are many flavours, but the sorbet flavours were my top favourite. So, if you want a fun breakfast, lunch or dinner, this is the place for you.

  2. Affordable place for quick, easy, high-quality and fresh fish and chips. I had the pink link which went nicely with a bit of salt, pepper and the house-made tartare sauce. Fished off with the best raspberry sorbet I’ve ever experienced – extremely flavorsome. The only problem is how popular it is – the carpark can get quite full, making it difficult to find a spot.

  3. Down at the docks you’ll find all the vendors on the water selling cooked food or seafood you can take home but the Mures has you covered on all bases. Love the selections oysters, lobster and Prawns. If you’re lucky enough to score a table outside enjoying the view you’ll also be provided with an effective weapon to eat in peace ?

  4. Nice seafood place in a great location. We got the basket and fresh oysters and were happy with our selections. If you’re sitting outside beware of the seagulls, and make sure you use the spray to scare them away

  5. I am not sure what all the hype is about but I was incredibly disappointed. This is a tourist trap be warned!

Grilled fish: [3/10] $35 for a pathetically small serving of fish, chips and a Caesar salad which was scented of old fish presumably from sitting in the refrigerator out front.

Kilpatrick Oysters: [5/10] Small relative to other oysters I’ve had around Hobart – check my other review photos for reference.

For the price of the food, you would expect water not to be self-serve, but that is besides the point.

In the words of my friend without the expletives, the place was “forgettable” besides the feeling of being extorted for one of the worst fish and chips I’ve ever had.
