The bakery boasts an impressive range of baked goods. However, the apple donut left a bit to be desired in terms of moisture and flavor. The veggie pie was ok, but a little spicy. It would be appreciated if the service could be a touch more amiable and understanding, especially when warming up items is requested. A suitable spot to drop in if you’re in the area, but not a top priority to visit.

Top quality bakery in Darwin. Donuts, breakfast, and breads are just great! The staff are polite and friendly. As a picky coffee person, I found their coffee quite good as well.

An alternative to the Asian cuisine across the road at the markets. Eggs as well as toasties, pies, sausage rolls and plenty of bakery treats. There is also ice cream in a cone available to satisfy the kids or kids in us all. Good service, ok coffee and plenty of cold drinks.

  1. The breakfast dish were ok. Reason why for the 3 stars, the poached eggs are over cooked. The meals are tasty, definitely quantity with a touch of quality.

Service, was ok, the tables needed a wipe down.

    Atmosphere is good.

Menu added in photos. Brilliant choice ?

  2. Without a doubt the best foodbi had in Darwin so far.
Huge cafe with pastries aswell and a good sized menu.
I had sourdough avocado poached eggs and baked beans.
Eggs great avocado great sized serving but the star was the homemade baked beans. Done with the big beans gigantes I’m pretty sure it had hints of paprika and cumin. They were cooked with tomatoes and onions. Absolutely delicious and such a change from heinz ?
My partner had the truffles eggs which didn’t taste like truffle but were generous and creamy.
My partner raved so hard about the iced coffee she now had (and had yesterday hence why we were here) that I who don’t like coffee had ro try it and it was thick rich and creamy yum!!!
Excellent service aswell. Friendly happy servers so thank you!!!

  3. Getting a croissant right in a place with all the humidity of a steam bath is tricky. Like my post 400m running at aged 9, I’ll award these guys a star for effort. You just have to cook these as fully as they have. Too bad it was underproofed, so the crisp outer shell covered an undercooked centre. It was edible. The coffee was better than average, though the milk texture was a little underweight. Nice place to chill though.

  4. Ray’s Coffee and Patisserie is a fantastic spot for meetups. I recently chose this charming venue for a weekday business meeting and to catch up with a friend. The highlight was their long black coffee, which was rich and satisfying. The ambiance is cozy, making it an ideal spot for discussions. I plan to return on a weekend to sample their breakfast options. The service was friendly and prompt, and the overall experience left me looking forward to my next visit. This café certainly gets a thumbs up from me!

  5. Great coffee and big food servings. Their organic sourdough was springy and delicious, scrambled eggs were buttery and juice was refreshing.
Corn fritters were quite heavy and dense but the poached eggs were perfectly cooked.
