7 months agoWhy can’t someone answer the phone number when customers ring. Stressed about why Bank these days have 3 day clearance on funds deposited. Should be overnight by EFT Deposit. Oh that’s right the Bank makes money by using these funds on Overnight Futures , so much money to get doing this on Stock Market. NOT HAPPY JAN.a year agoThe staff are lovely, but I went in to make a transfer today at around 10:45 and didn’t get out of there for nearly half an hour. I don’t blame the staff at all. Astrononomical profits and yet the bank can’t even employ enough staff to serve at the tellers BEFORE the lunchtime rush!a year agoI’ve been standing here for 55 minutes now and these was only 1 teller on. She was then called away for the security guard to drop money. NO one has said sorry for the delay. Have been banking with them for years but after today will be CLOSING all accounts. Women in Iran and other countrys are being jailed and have acid thrown on them for not wearing the Hijab or wearing it incorrectly. Just walked into NAB Gladstone and saw a picture of a lady in a Hijab. The teller said it is about “diversity”. But i assume the National Australia Bank supports Islamic country’s imprisoning woman for not wearing the Hijab. I will be closing all accounts with NAB because i do not support the oppression of women.
The last time I went in to do banking at NAB Gladstone I lined up for half an hour before being tended to by one of two tellers. Today, there was only one teller working, three people waiting in the queue, the person in front had a bag full of money. As I had my elderly father waiting in the car I walked out in disgust, not having done my banking.
Worst customer service I have ever received from a NAB Branch. The lady was very rude and unhelpful.
Gladstone branch in Queensland has been closed for some time for renovations I assume, with no ATM available. Have checked web site and still showing this address even though not there, no signage about what’s happening or where else can go. On ATM locator has only this address ( that has nothing) for ATM or when talking on line sends you a link that doesn’t work comes up “not found” .
Facebook has no post about situation.
Wife has to get me to put money in my bank and then transferee to her.
Service was already pretty poor with minimal staff levels, who were jaded from dealing with frustrated customers.
Is Nab just going to internet banking and closing down in Gladstone? Any information would be appreciated, surely a communication could be sent to all account holders in Gladstone. Regards Leo
