Evo Cycles were disappointing to deal with, I took 2 three month old e-bikes in to have a first service and to replace an inner tube (that I supplied, after they told me they could only find them in Australia). Firstly they were meant to have them done within a week yet when I dropped the inner tube off on the Friday 6 days after I’d dropped the bikes off, they hadn’t started working on the services, they only did when I mentioned I was expecting to pick them up the next day.
Secondly I was surprised that I received the text to say they were ready for pick up 1 hour after I had gone in to drop the tube off. This seemed awfully quick to have gone from nothing completed to fully complete with only one bike mechanic on deck.
When I picked the bikes up I found that one of them has considerable damage to the paint on the pannier rack and what looks to be primer in a poor attempt to hide/fix the scrapes.
I wasn’t stoked to be charged $50 for them to replace my inner tube while they were servicing the bike either, considering Torpedo7 have done this for me in the past at no cost (which isn’t what I would expect but it’s a big gulf between that and $50, especially while they are already working on the bike).
There was no mention that this would be an added cost when I spoke to them on the phone to book them in for the services, a heads up would have been good as I would have gone to Torpedo7 instead.
Pretty terrible service all round. You guys have lost a customer for good now. I’m tired of being gouged and you guys seem to have no qualms about it. Poor customer service and I suspect that my service was not carried out in full due to the extremely short time frame it went from not started to complete.
Honestly if you can find a non chain bike store, go there, or Torpedo7. Evo Cycles is not it. 1 star, would not trade again.

I was in this morning to purchase a mountain bike. As soon as I entered the store I was approached by Taine. Great customer service and exited happy with my new purchase. Highly recommend, keep up the good work.
Had a small elbow issue, from out of town and ended up at Evo asking advice. FANTASTIC customer service, it got crazy busy and they managed it very well, so helpful, great advice, fixed my issue right away and on our way. If I had a shop, staff like these guys is what I want! Cheers Aaron!
