a week agoThe room is great. There are plenty of pillows. The bed is a little bit hard. I had some difficulty chasing up my access to the after-hours key safe. I had to arrive after 6pm, the closing time of their reception. I had to call twice code to get the access code for the key safe.2 months agoBooking was easy, staff were amazing, great location, easy onsite parking. Room was great, listed as disabled friendly but accessibility into the room is not that easy for wheelchair chair, room itself was great especially the bathroom. Clean and comfortable. Looking forward to staying again.5 months agoIt was a last minute decision to go to Geelong. And I tell you we were not disappointed at all. What a lovely place to visit but the accommodation made all the more better to stay. We stayed for two nights in a lovely room. The service was excellent and you also get the luxury of a restaurant on the premises and room service if you so desire.I highly recommend staying here if you want a simple place to put your stuff and rest your head after a day of travel and exploring.
Thank you team for making our trip absolutely enjoyable and memorable.
2 months agoStopped here the night before a daytime Spirit of Tasmania sailing. Good bed, lots of hot water, and a young man on reception who was very helpful with getting us parked and our bags upstairs. My wife has limited mobility, and I don’t move quite as quickly as I used to.a month agoQuite comfortable rooms for a budget motel.Great location, 10 minute walk to city centre. Unfortunately I didn’t find the reception staff to be very friendly, if you asked them a question it was as though you were being a nuisance.

Our room wasn’t clean, unfortunately. Mould in the shower. Heavy dust on bench tops. And the mirror full of sticky stuff and kids’ hand prints.
The beds were extremely soft. It was too soft for our liking as we kept rolling in the centre.
Also very noisy with other guests walking in the hallways and shutting doors. Woke up up a few times through the night 4am being the noisiest. (Not great for a family room with kids)
The pool is great. Good sun and shade. Good amount of seating. Didn’t like walking through the restaurant wet and in a towel to get back to the rooms. Not pleasant for patrons nor swimmers.
Breakfast is great, get there early. Breakfast is served until 1030am on a Sunday at 9:15 there was very little left and most wasn’t getting replenished. Had to line up in the big line just to get a coffee refill. Needs to be flipped around so the line isn’t hovering over tables with people eating. And can’t freely flow.
Satisfactory hotel in the centre of Geelong. A short stroll to a nice collection of bars & restaurants on Little Malop Street & to the waterfront.
Rooms are a good size with comfortable beds & pillows.
Amenities are satisfactory for a hotel of this standard.
Bathroom is a tad small, but is nicely decked out.
All staff, from reception to housekeeping are friendly & efficient.
Restaurant & pool area look well maintained & the bar has a good selection of drinks.
Only complaint is the lack of usb charging points.
Overall a good stay, comfy bed, good location & staff.
Considering that it is an old hotel, the room is clean and tidy.
My sleep was good, and the bed was comfortable.
Water was all over the drip tray when we arrived. To empty it, my spouse had to ask for towels.
They offered us an upgrade. Next room size up with a view. A drink voucher each.
The staff at the restaurant, housekeeping, and reception were all accommodating and kind.
Low water pressure in shower. Bathtub/shower combo only- for the money charged, you should expect a decent walk-in shower with decent water pressure. Bathroom overall quite small. Also, breakfast being min. $25, you should be able to get a cappuccino but none offered. Breakfast buffet overall ordinary. Staff offer good service by rectifying breakdowns and taking notes from customers.
Haven’t stayed as yet – we were meant to check in on NYE but our baby became sick quickly in the morning and we had to go to hospital. Just wanted to leave a 5star review for the hotel’s compassion and kindness in changing our booking dates at short notice even though we were past the cancellation point. We’ve rebooked our dates and really confident of having a great stay after this interaction!
