3 months agoAverage food and really slow service for customers walking in to dine in. They really prioritise the online ordering pickup and drive thru at this restaurant. New menu promotes the fried chicken and burgers, hard to even see the roast chicken items anymore. The $5 snack pack offer was reasonable value, except the chips were cold and soggy and the potato and gravy was about 80% gravy. $2 extra for a can of drink. Sucks they have changed from Coke to Pepsi as their beverage supplier but looks like Oporto have too. Limited parking at the back for about 4 cars except an abandoned car is currently taking up one of these spots.a week agoFood is usually very good and delivery has always been fast in my experience, lost point because I have often found that this store stops taking online/delivery orders well before the store actually closes. Unsure if it’s to clean? but imo that time shouldn’t be counted as part of the store opening hours.. don’t state a specific closing time if you’re not going to serve up until that time…2 years agoFirst time trying Red Rooster after hearing about their new Fried chicken. The verdict: they were really good! I found them less greasy than KFC while still being juicy. They also had a nice crunch on the outside. I would definitely recommend them!We also tried other items (see pics) and, overall, everything was pretty good! I especially really liked the onion rings, coleslaw and wings. However, the nuggets were quite average and I’d probably not take them again.
a month agoThere’s not a lot of activity in this branch. Which makes it perfect. You get in, get your chicken and drive home. The staff is nice. The only downside is when exiting, turning right can be a hassle because there isn’t any traffic light.2 months agoHad take away from here at around 12:00am. One or two customers.Fried chicken was not prepared and he asked for 10-12min wait. Never seen this at KFC. The receptionist was really nice to come outside to my car parked in the parking lot to deliver the order.
The worst thing though was the food. Absolutely soggy fries. Chicken was overwhelming with salt plus hard to eat chicken. The burger bun was brittle and seemed stale.
Avoid at best.

Parking was easy. There are plenty of spots for the amount of customers they had.
The food was good. I usually dont like the after-effects of greasy fried chicken. I did not suffer any ill effects from the 2 bits I bought, and they were tasty, tender with crunchy batter. I also tried a pickle chicken burger, which was interesting as I thought I detected some dill in there.

Walked into the place, and straight away could tell it was not very well cared for or maintained. The door we walked through had no gas hinge connected, so it simply flung open. The decor and kitchen seemed tired and was screaming out for an update. No one was eating in they all seemed to be taking away as the feel was not a welcoming or comfortable one.
This morning I required the use of the bathroom facilities. The door to the ladies toilet is a heavy and shuts quickly as per the photos showing the damage to my two fingers. When I spoke to the manager on duty who approached the counter eating what I can only assume was chicken, to less then any concerns nor was any of my details taken for an incident report. The manager stated that she would pass on the information to her manager. Just lucky I wasn’t a small child or older person as the damage could have been disastrous
Food was really nice and tasty.
Staff seemed more interested in talking to there friends then serving customers, wait was way too long.
Store was well kept, clean, atmosphere was generally ok.
The food at this restaurant was undeniably delicious, but unfortunately, the overall experience left much to be desired. We visited on a Sunday night around 10:30 PM, and while the food was good, the lack of welcoming and friendly staff made the atmosphere somewhat unpleasant.
It felt like we had to approach the staff rather than them greeting us, very cold interaction while we were the one to approach them. However, what truly concerned us was the lack of hygiene observed during our visit. It was evident from watching the staff that cleanliness standards were not being upheld.
The staff were seen handling dirty items, bins, and food with the same gloves, which was quite unhygienic. Some were sweeping the floor, others cleaning with water splashing around, and some even changing bins, all while wearing gloves. To make matters worse, some staff members were handling food with these same gloves, while others took off their gloves without washing their hands before handling food.
This lack of attention to hygiene left us feeling uncomfortable and somewhat disgusted, despite the delicious food. It’s disappointing that such a crucial aspect of restaurant (well renowned franchise) operation was overlooked. Overall, while the food was enjoyable, the poor hygiene practices and lack of welcoming staff made for a less than satisfying experience.
