a week agoShocking service Indian girl with short hair avoided at all costs to serve me as her colleague had another till open. When I approached she made every effort to make it difficult. My Woolworths rewards card wouldn’t scan she made me read it out still didn’t work and then said in no uncertain terms ‘move over to other counter.’ The owners of these stations are better allowing us to pay at bowser or with robots so we don’t have to deal with these workers who have no pride in themselves or the job they are getting paid for and contempt for the paying customers. I see customers go there and argue all the time thinking the always right they treat the staff like trash and always expect more. I saw some girl spit in the guys face the worker said nothing to deserve this … I hope you pay the workers well. I feel bad for everyone that works there

I recently had a highly disappointing visit to Ampol, and I feel compelled to share my experience with potential customers. This review details the rampant overflowing bins, unattended food, and unhygienic restroom conditions that I encountered during both the day and evening.
Firstly, the state of the bins was absolutely appalling. Throughout my visit, I observed bins overflowing with trash, causing an unpleasant and unsightly ambiance. It was evident that the bins were not being attended to or changed regularly, as they were bursting with waste. This lack of maintenance is highly unacceptable and reflects poorly on the level of cleanliness and professionalism that should be expected from Ampol.
Secondly, the hot food section was equally disappointing. It was disheartening to see that the staff did not seem to monitor how long the food had been sitting on the display. As a result, I witnessed the gradual deterioration of food quality, which could pose serious health risks to customers. This careless approach to food safety is utterly concerning and raises questions about Ampol’s commitment to maintaining the highest standards in their service offerings.
Furthermore, the condition of the restroom for customers was beyond disgusting. It was apparent that the cleanliness and hygiene of this essential facility took a backseat at Ampol. The restroom appeared neglected and unclean, with unpleasant odors permeating the air. Such an unhygienic environment is not only uncomfortable but also potentially hazardous to customers’ health. Ampol must urgently address this issue and prioritize the maintenance of their restroom facilities.
I am thoroughly disappointed by the lack of cleanliness and hygiene standards at Ampol. Their negligence in properly maintaining overflowing bins, monitoring the freshness of hot food, and ensuring a hygienic restroom for customers is unacceptable. I sincerely hope that Ampol management takes immediate action to rectify these issues, as customers deserve a safe and clean environment when visiting any establishment.
I strongly advise everyone to think twice before choosing Ampol as their preferred convenience store. There are numerous other options available that prioritize cleanliness, hygiene, and customer satisfaction to a much higher extent.
I have just went to ampol and doors were locked and I asked the customer service representative do you have any deals going on with energy drinks . He couldn’t understand and suggesting me to take lage redbull. And asking me to check on the boards outside . He is got no product knowledge and telling me to wait a side and he is got some work . I dont understand serving me is not a work ??
Very disappointed. Keep better staff who is got better product knowledge.
This is a good petrol station, very clean and tidy and the staff are friendly, however for some reason it’s one of the most expensive of the service stations on Kingsway (there are 2 others along this road and this is by far the most expensive by about 5c/L at least!) Maybe it’s because it’s the only station on that side of the road… Who can say. Apart from the cost it’s good service.
Good fuel stop with plenty of pumps conveniently located on Kings way. Friendly staff, plenty of food options and clean amenities. ATM inside too.
