WOW! Working in customer service over 25yrs I have never seen such STUPIDITY. These staff need to be sacked, pls continue to read…. After my wife and I spent time chatting and laughing with SA great Mark Aiston, all 3 were bemused by a young fells walking out the Otr attempting to light his ? smoke. Next min…..he walks up 2 the staff window, the staff member HANDS HIM A LIGHTER…ALLOWS HIM TO LIGHT HIS CIGARETTE, hand the light back thru the windiw to which the operator put back on its stand and allowed this grub to walk through SMOKING whilst others are filling up there cars!!!! WHAT HUH WHO HUH ?? ALL 3 of us say something to staff and what’s he do????? Says nothing…..wobbles his Indian head!!!! Seriously OTR stop employing these indian idiots with no common sence

I’ll start with this. We could have all been killed here last night. We were standing outside chatting when a young guy barely out of nappies ask us if we have a lighter to which we said no. After he walked away it dawned on us that this idiot wanted to light up a cigarette IN a service station. Now here’s the good part. Next thing he does is goes to the service window where we saw the attendant lend a lighter We had to look twice but it’s definitely what we saw. And this idiot (for want of a better word) then proceeded out through where the bowsers are with a lit cigarette. When we challenged him his reply was he’s a mechanic and knows what goes off n what doesn’t! I have never seen such an act of stupidity and negligence in my entire life. This need to be addressed!!!!!

Otr seriously have to review the type of training level staff have i was paying for my subway and all my items through subway then the pakistan looking guy working at normal kiosk started trying to wave at me and yell out through the window asking if ive paid yet by not even asking the subway staff first looks so unprofessional there level of communicationis quite concerning

Staff always say the subway is closed at night. Even though it meant to be 24/7. No subway staff wants to work here in this store. OTR staff are trying to help you with subway. It’s better to find an alternative than wasting your time coming to this store.

This is clean and quick OTR outlet. You can get all range of stuff to go quickly after pumping fuel. You can buy a sub from subway or some coeffee. Also you can buy SA lotteries. This OTR outlet contains flowers as well. The staff is also helpful.

  1. Fantastic experience with Shim last night.

    Super efficient, friendly and diligent.

Shim was running back and forth between counters, serving everyone fast and effectively – like a boss!

  2. When you are” On The Run,” the following assets they provide will always make your experience lively: Music, friendly staff, air-conditioned environment, shelves filled with your essential needs and wants on the go, etcetera.

There are few of the things that disappoint me: the first one is the speed of the service. There are certain peak times where there are a lot of customer orders; this makes us wait a bit more.

The second is the “ENTIRE” state of the bathroom: it is dirty and disgusting.

Improving these will ensure the true meaning of OTR(On The Run) along with the cleanliness, and this benefits not only the customers ourselves but also the OTR brand itself. Thank you!

  3. We went to get a couple of slushies however there were no Mega cups. There was an attendant behind us who we asked for the cups to which he responded we need to go to the counter and ask for them. There was a line at the counter so we said no we’re not lining up to ask for cups. . You go and get them. It’s his job anyway. He then comes back with large cups saying there are no mega ones. We left and went to Kilburn on our way to where we were going. None of the machines were working. This isn’t the first time we’ve scouted various ones to find ones that are working. OTR you really need to lift your game and stop wasting people’s time.

  4. Came in yesterday at about 3:30. Ordered a beef pie and sauce at the counter from the small, angry guy. He went to get the pie and said something about one of the traveller pies. I said I ordered the beef pie and that’s when he completely snapped. Started shouting about how they are all beef pies. I said I ordered the beef pie labelled “Beef Pie”. He kept arguing about how they’re all beef pies (the display was almost empty). I pointed at the beef pie labelled “Beef Pie” and, after another display of histrionics from the little dude, got my pie. I asked for my sauce. This sent him spiralling. I was like “just gimme my sauce”, but he wouldn’t; he just kept screaming about beef pies. Eventually I got my sauce and ran off before he could start up again. Defo one of the dumbest, most bizarre arguments I’ve been in.

  5. What can I say this place is disgusting, the toilets “oh my god”, they are seriously the most disgusting toilets, they obviously don’t clean them, the ladies toilet seat was broken just complete grime and filth everywhere, we ordered coffee with the app and had to wait for the staff member to what looked like refilling cups etc and then proceeded to take photos of what he had just done, and only then did he make our coffee ‘s. If I could give less then 1 star I would, surely you can afford a cleaner to clean the toilets, I did read other reviews about your toilets dating back 9 months ago, so I am sure this review will fall on deaf ears, how ever the coffee was good, but not good enough to ever come back.
