6 months agoBagga’s beauty room is a hidden gem with a little piece of heaven in the heart of town (Newcastle). I have been going here for over 5 years. It is central to my place of employment, which means I can go before, lunchtime or after work. I always feel refreshed and pampered every single time. Bronwyn is an amazing beauty therapist and I always look forward to each appointment.8 months agoThis is such a hidden gem in Newcastle. The beauty rooms at Bagga’s are simply lovely. The experience is always so beautiful and relaxing. Whether it’s a quick lash tint, or a facial, I always leave feeling pampered and cared for. Exceptional service every single visit. I highly recommend these beauty rooms.10 months agoI had a Back, Neck and Face massage yesterday and it was the best massage I have ever had. Bronwyn was amazing , put me at ease and looked after me so well. I felt totally relaxed and absolutely wonderful when she finished the massage and was given all the time I needed to get up , dress and l eave . 2 months agoI’ve found this pharmacy fantastic for special order meds and compounded scripts. They help me arrange medication for complicated medicare treatment and always do what they say they will. Highly recommend.a month agoextensive range of products to suit any needs. magnificent staff especially young oscar that boy knows a thing or two about vitamins.4 months agoDoc’s Mega save Chemist compound my prescriptions and they are always helpful and courteous. They always have what I need, or a workable alternative. I’d give them 10 stars if I could2 months agoShopped with docs megasave chemist, spent $72 dollars on scripts and general chemist stuff, the cashier bagged my items and I left ??♀️You’d think this was the end of my experience… but no, five months later I sent my partner to get a script for me, docs mega save chemist told him I’d taken prescription pain killers without paying for them five months ago, the gentlemen explaining my bad behaviour to him required him to pay for the pain killers.
After providing the receipt from my earlier visit, docs mega save chemist owner Tim Cush confirmed the young cashier had scanned the item but not selected it in a manner that would require payment, they apologised I felt that they had accused me of stealing.. Tim belittled me for a while and said “do you know how a till works”…. a sentence I won’t forget easily.. happy to share the recording.
Don’t shop there, misogynist men will try to hurt you any way they can, even tho I was doing nothing more than existing as a woman. Gross behaviour towards the people who trust their information will be handled in a professional manner. Women beware.

I needed some medication urgently for my newborn baby and the pharmacist was so accomodating and more than happy to assist me even though it was almost closing time and the medication needed to be compounded taking approximately 40 minutes. Can’t recommend docs mega save more highly. As a tired mum of an unwell newborn I am so grateful for the kindness shown by the pharmacist.

Very rude staff member named Sri. I was looking for a face cream for my girlfriend. Sri saw me and whispered: “Must be an ugly girl if she use this cream”. She thought I did not hear her, but I actually heard. Such a disrespectful person. She should learn some manners. Its not India here.
Yeh the service is good and all but I’m convinced their security guard is a Greek god come to live amongst us mere mortals.
Generally, the staff here are friendly and helpful. Except when there was a problem today with a lack of stock of one of my scripts and I was asking how I could get around the problem the pharmacist in charge very rudely barked at me about having to go back to my doctor to get a new script and that they cannot change scripts even if it’s to offer two separate identical doses in separate pills that are usually combined in to one pill. Due to this unpleasant encounter, I decided to retrieve all my prescriptions and transferred them to another pharmacy where they had no issues addressing the matter of modifying the prescriptions.
Staff in the dispensary are very rude and condescending. The member, who was not wearing a name tag, was rude to myself and two other customers.
I recently moved to Mayfield so decided to transfer my scripts (2 that need to be refrigerated) from the Charlestown store. I totally regret doing this. What terrible pharmacy customer service. Just difficult, not helpful, disorganised (have had to place a few phone calls to just follow up a simple email request from my Specialist). I’ll be transferring to another chemist – it’s disappointing – I’ve always used Chemist Warehouse as I have found them to be caring, helpful and considerate. Not the case for this store.
