Easy to get an appointment and flexible to do phone appointments/escripts if you can’t make it in. Practice doctors vary in their levels of competency – I wish they would more freely consult each other, especially the registrars. The senior doctors are a safe choice. Never had a bad experience in 9 years. Private billing.

Doctor Jenny Ho is my regular doctor here and I always feel safe and taken care of every time I’ve got an appointment with her . The clinic is clean, the staff at the front desk are helpful and friendly and it’s just easy to book with them. Even the phone appointments work out for me. You’d think that you may not cover much over the phone which is my concern but we never miss anything. I went to some other clinic for a while but felt unsatisfied. So glad to be back to this clinic.

I would give zero stars if I could. Unless you have the flu or like to hear lies about Covid, this practice is nothing but a meat market money making machine. I’m a former vet of 20 years who’s body has been through a lot. The doctors here have a total non-caring attitude, will do anything to get out of doing any work, refuse to sign anything, even deny providing assistance for operations that they have sent you off for. They will even delete all record of these operations. I am pursuing complaints through Hadsco and seeking legal council to take matters further.

This clinic represents the very lows of the medical profession. They will shamelessly lie and modify their medical reports after the fact to cover themselves and make you look crazy in their evil web of lies. Do yourself a favour and stay away, at least this will keep you from being penniless and jobless.

Wow … this practise is outstanding… as a desperate attempt to have my Mums ears cleared after seeing her normal GP who was no help at all – I simply cannot rave about this place and service enough. Lovely welcoming waiting area and the doctor OH MY GOODNESS!! Dr Ip, what can I say ??? Except that you truly are a dedicated and very caring soul. Thank you so much for this kind experience to everyone at this centre.

I would say that’s the best GP experience I have ever had in Perth.

I have seen Dr Nara and Dr Kye for several times, both of them are very caring and attentive. They really solved my problems whenever i came for an appointment. I will always come back for them if I need.

Also The receptionists are very nice too, thanks guys. 🙂

ICU was 5 stars, ward rooms very dated and unclean. Reports of black mould, hospital cant even supply patients basic oral care in case patient forgot to bring it. DATED entertainment system. Some nurses are great, but some are just ticking off hours. Out of ICU was put on a bed which was too short for me, when I asked to get an appropriate size bed , response was no we don’t have ( that bed could have been from a ward un the 70’s First night out of ICU nurses did not even put call bell near me. Make matters worse was put in a room where aicon was turned off, AS A PATIENT I HAD TO call and tell reception that air con is not working as the nurse just said ‘oh I do not know why aircon not working Sharps container has been full no one bothers to change it. Dated malfunctioning oxy meters and blood pressure machines unclean between usage between patient rooms. Had an army of 4 cleaners come barging in room to clean windows with no regards to patient privacy HAD I HAD THE CHOICE WOULD HAVE GONE AND PROCEDURE DONE AT ST JOHN OF GOD HOSPITAL Recomendation don’t get cardiac surgery done at mount hospital, in hind sight would have had done more research on hospitals

As a visitor to the hospital for a week, I found the ward and medical staff to be friendly and helpful o patients and visitors. The reception staff however were consistently unhelpful and decidedly unfriendly, not even a glance up or a welcoming smile to any of the people coming through the doors. When I, a slight 62 year old woman was lugging a chair back to reception a nurse had kindly left for my patient to sit in while he waited for me to arrive in the pick up area, she looked up and straight back down again. A smile, a nod, even a thank you would have been nice! Get nicer, more ‘people friendly’ people to sit in that chair! Reception staff at hospitals need to go the extra inch as hospitals are often very challenging places for all involved…not just the patients!

Wait time for admissions was a bit long, however i absolutely impressed with the quality of care at this hospital! from the surgical staff to the ward nurses i was treated extremely well during my stay. one particular nurse (Yehlen) was amazingly attentive and definitely made me feel more comfortable and happy during my stay. i cant say how impressed i am, honestly. so thankful to the amazing carers who made me feel heard, looked after and were always willing to help me no matter how small the request or task.

Although the building itself needs a lot work it’s the people inside that matter . The care I was given by the staff was 10 out 10. Special thanks to nurse Yehlen she is just a beautiful soul and she simply cares about her patients . Dr Graham Jeff’s is a caring empathetic specialist and an amazing surgeon . He came to see me twice after the surgery which shows he cares about his patients The food was also very nice . Thankyou to all the staff and Dr Graham Jeff’s for your support and care I appreciate it immensely. You have made a hospital experience a pleasant one ? G Pratt

I recently had joint replacement surgery and 5 day stay at the Mount. I was very nervous before my op however all the Drs and nurses provided reassurance and kindness. After my surgery I was moved into the Tuart Ward with Dr Larry Liew and the amazing team of nurses and physios. The nursing and compassion I received could not be faulted and when I was discharged I felt confident that I could cope on my own. The only negative aspect of my experience was the car park whose amount of spaces should be reduced and lines redrawn to fit with todays larger vehicles which would enable reasonable room to park and get out of your car.

Planning to Visit an Australian General Practitioner? Here’s What You Should Consider!

Ainslie House in Perth
Ainslie House in Perth

When visiting a General Practitioner (GP) in Australia, there are several things to consider to ensure a successful and efficient appointment. By keeping these factors in mind, you can make the most of your visit and receive the care you need:

  • Appointment: In Australia, it is usually necessary to make an appointment to see a GP. While some clinics may accept walk-in patients, it is best to call ahead and schedule an appointment to avoid long wait times.
  • Location: Consider the location of the GP clinic and choose one that is convenient for you. This will make it easier to visit the clinic regularly for check-ups or ongoing care.
  • Medical History: Before your appointment, gather and organize your medical history, including previous test results, diagnoses, and medications. This information will help your GP understand your medical background and provide appropriate care.
  • Symptoms and Concerns: Make a list of the symptoms you are experiencing and any specific concerns you have. This will ensure you address all your health issues during the appointment.
  • Health Insurance: Check whether your GP accepts your health insurance. If not, you may need to pay for the appointment out-of-pocket or find a different GP who does accept your insurance.
  • Interpreter: If English is not your first language or you have difficulty communicating in English, consider bringing an interpreter with you to help facilitate communication with your GP.
  • Questions and Follow-up: Prepare a list of questions to ask your GP during the appointment. Additionally, discuss any necessary follow-up appointments, tests, or referrals that may be required.

  1. Doctor Low is fantastic. He listens and really tries to help with your concerns the best way possible. He also explains things really well to help you understand what might be happening and how best to treat it. He’s kind and compassionate. Yes, the fee is a lot but worth it for the service Dr Low provides and let’s face it, there aren’t too many bulk billed practices these days.

  2. Dr Dominic Sinagra has great bed side manners and was really pleasant to talk to. Would recommend him to anyone. The medical centre in Northbridge was clean and tidy and staff were polite and friendly.

  3. This is a great Medical Centre. The Doctors and Nurses are fantastic. I was welcomed by the receptionist. Shortly after, I saw the Doctor who understood my concerns and provided me with the right treatments. Thank you all very much ??

  4. I’ve recently began treatment and so far, so great. Receptionist are lovely. Dr Sinagra is a saint and they are a flexible and hospitable clinic. I believe I’ve picked a winner ? you should too. Thank you ?

  5. My recent experience with this medical centre was nothing short of a nightmare. Despite giving my consent, they failed to inform me when my test results were ready. Moreover, their policy of withholding results until a doctor reviews them is archaic and unacceptable. The receptionist, Jess, was shockingly rude and unhelpful. Her response to my questions was a dismissive. This level of incompetence and indifference is inexcusable, and I strongly advise avoiding this medical centre at all costs.
