Dr Francis listens to his patients, he is empathetic and kind. In my opinion, he is the best GP to see in Whyalla. My partner & I will always see Dr Francis for our health care.

The staff should have a system where patients can be allocated to short, medium and long appointments I.e. short – 15 mins, medium – 30 mins & long – 45 min appointments to better allow for wait times, improve patient care and wait times.

Today I went to Doctors at Westlands I booked appointment for me as well as for my three and half months old baby. When I just entered there were three ladies working there two were busy discussing something and laughing, I wait there for a while but none of them acknowledged me and ignored by all three of them. Then I just asked them I have an appointment. My experience got worst when the doctor was so rude, she was like I wasted her time although I booked appointment for me and my daughter. She was an Indian doctor, I need a letter from them to certify that my baby is growing normal need to put some details on the letter, there was some spelling mistake on my baby name and I just tried to let her know but she said stop talking your appointment got too long, I tell her she put wrong then she said you need to inform before hand. she was rude. I don’t like her behavior don’t want to see her again. I don’t even want to give 1 star ??????

If only i had the option to choose no stars. Not sure if I can name and shame the doctor I have been visiting, since moving to Whyalla during covid times. I have found her to be rude, culturally insensitive, judgemental and allows personal bias to override clients choice and decision making. She recently breached her duty of care, by prescribing me the same medication that I was given by the hospital when I requested pain relief for having major surgery. I am breastfeeding and this could have had serious effects on me and my newborn. No way I will be returning. I wish to make a formal complaint.

I went to Doctors at Westlands and there were three administration staff members working on their computers when I arrived. I went to the front desk expecting to be acknowledged and I was ignored by all three administration staff.

They also did this to other patients that approached them at the front desk. This is extremely poor and disrespectful service! These administration staff members are the first and last members of Doctors at Westlands that patients see. Improve your professionalism administration staff!

Worst Doctors surgery in the entire town! I moved to another surgery after being accused of being a drug seeker by these doctors after having something go wrong with my hysterectomy. They left me to suffer and since moving to another surgery I have proved that my problem is REAL and I DO need medication until I can be fixed. The so called ” Doctor’s ” at westlands are the most unqualified and unprofessional people I have ever met. Do not go here if you want to be cared for!
