2 months agoBEWARE!! Shopping at TJ Maxx on Brodie Lane, i’m usually a clearance shopper and that’s where you’ll find me. I found some bikini bottoms that were in the clearance section for 799 went into the fitting room to try them on. The little tag popped off a plastic bat on went to go pay for my purchases. The lady said this is a two piece I said yes I understand. I couldn’t find it so I just want the bottoms. She then went to get the manager who went to go look for something similar for $13.99 I couldn’t believe they try to overcharge me. I tried myself looking for something similar and couldn’t find it and I just saw a well. I’m sure they will honor the price. I was WRONG! The management and staff are very rude. Except for a couple gals (older cashier) and dressing room lady she likes to talk and engage. The rest do not care to talk to you at all. Especially the manager (talk male) WED 7/19/23, They are just trying to push us out like we are cattle. I will never go to this TJ Maxx again!!2 months agoNo AC, no computers, no returns, no solutions, no help. Truly I love TJ max and everything they have to offer but when one employee says yes to my 12 week old pup sitting in the cart and being met with a “you are wanting to hold all of that?” And the manager passing customers and ignoring their questions while coming to my tote and saying “yeah so I cannot hold that”. Great service guys. Image is of the tote that I wanted to hold.2 weeks agoLots of good merchandise- service in dressing room and at checkout were great.Aileen saved my sunglasses for me when I left them behind. She had them saved until I returned. There are plenty of cashiers keeping the line moving quickly2 months agoSantiago the store manager has no sense. Found a shirt that I needed for an event and looked that it was part of a 2 piece set. Unfortunately the bottoms were nowhere to be found. Probably since the store is extremely messy. Regardless, he would not sell me the top and said they would wait a week to put it on clearance. I don’t understand why he couldn’t just discount it and make a sale tonight. No customer service whatsoever.a month agoThe dressing room closes at 8pm when the store closes at 9:30????? Rudish older curly haired lady working the floor told me to my face that yes I could put them on hold until tomorrow and come back and try them on. Waited in line 20 minutes to do so only to be told they only can hold them until the end of the day. Y’all deserve a big basket of clothes to put back at that point. I was so excited to come back for them yet the lady acted like I was the problem when I didn’t want to buy any of it right then and there after she said I couldn’t hold it or try it on!?

Standing in line at this store right now. I came in for a return and the line is super long with only one cashier. She calls for assistance and over the intercom you hear a call for 3 different cashiers. Only two approach the registers after about 10 minutes. I didn’t actually shop here and probably will not after my first impression. The folks Standing in line ahead of me seem very unhappy about the fact that there is only one cashier at the register. Many different huffs and puffs few comments even about how long they have been waiting. There is a now hiring sign out front but maybe more advertising better pay better treatment of employees. I don’t know but I will not be returning to this store after today.
While the clothing and jewelry pickings have appeared to slim down since Covid, there is always something you nab here. I never buy luggage anywhere else, for example. That department is incredible as far as the options and styles they have for the prices.
Staff has always been very friendly and helpful and some workers I have seen there for over 5 years.
Wish they had a place to leave carts in the lot instead of walking them all the way back. That is rough on moms putting kids in the car when it is hot. Or pets.
I was at timaxx everyday this week looking for Hello Kitty items because constantly resellers are buying them all. I go to timaxx 3 times a day and went this whole week. This morning i noticed an item that comes with the Hello Kitty Greeter and realized someone bought them this morning when they got them. I went back at 1:30pm and a man in his 50’s is standing in the back grabbing boxes into a cart with all the hello kitty greeters. This Hello Kitty greeters never hit the shelf as i was here everyday this whole week and last week. He also has boxes of high value items im guessing to resell. I talk to store manager Pedro Ramos and he was rude and hostile. He constantly lied saying they were on the floor which they never were as for i come every day 3 times a day, for the last 2 weeks waiting for the greeters. I love timaxx and i enjoy coming to timaxx but when workers are getting items that just come in and buying for resell as they buy the whole stock that comes it because not fun buying items i enjoy having. I took photos also for proof and let corporate know.
Always great prices and lots of variety. But the cashier that I checked out with was very rude. She did not acknowledge me! She continued to talk to her co-worker as if I was not standing there during my process.! I almost left my items there and spent my money somewhere else.
First time at this location and the store is stocked in every area.
I stopped to purchase a birthday gift and of course found other items. I’m given three stars because I witnessed Myranda being stern to a coworker when he was asking her for advise on putting items out in the Q Line. I get that she was trying to tell him to have creative control, but you could have used a better tone towards him. The way he put his head down- should have been a que to follow up with clarity.
Also one of my items did not have a price tag on it and I asked a couple of people on the floor only to be told ask the cashier. Mind you, floor associates will bring a similar item with the highest price. It’s not fair that some customers get penalized for tags not on an item. Yes, I bought the item and given that the TJX family is moving away from coding item – it’s no way they can Lee up with pricing.
Lastly, the front door pane is broken, I’m not sure the reason why but given how retail is being hit- it raised a red flag.
Will I go back…not sure. But I do believe in giving three chances- strike 3 and a decision will be made.
