Welp, since I went four places to find pegboard for a project and FINALLY found help, I’d give it a good rating. At first, it was slow going. BUT, then a great older fellow, Dale offered to help me. Had trouble finding the right sizing. I showed him my project, he immediately know how to help me cut and measure EXACTLY what I needed. ALSO how to put it together. Two of the places I had tried said they couldn’t cut the pegboard. One, the in store saw was broken. So Dale was priceless!!!! He definitely knows his stuff and was very patient and friendly. They also offer a military discount. That always helps.

ONLY GO WHEN NECESSARY! EXPENSIVE! CHEAP MATERIALS! RUDE STAFF! ALWAYS BUSY! Home Depot has totally deteriorated over the years. Once a grand concept, stocked with materials which were of quality, we have now come to a overly commercialized, mess! This location is always busy (like a Super Walmart). The lines for paint and other specialty items is utterly ridiculous. Staff are super rude. Go up the street to a Lowe’s where you’ll find more trained staff, or better yet, TRY to shop at a Mom and Pop shop, if any exist!

You just lost a $400+ sale because no one can drive a fork lift at 2:45 in the afternoon… I asked for a supervisor. Nope, they aren’t there either. Which explains why 5 employees where in garden section during the rain playing on their phones. Good job Slackers. This place is trashed. Shelves are junked out. Pretty typical for mesquite,Tx. So Instead of shopping with y’all, I ordered what I needed in your parking lot from somewhere else. Will be shipped free delivery to my site tomorrow.

I had a great experience today while shopping for exterior French patio doors. I was assisted by an employee in the door selection by the name of Gene(CES756). He was very knowledgeable about the door that I was wanting . He advised me on the selection of door handles that they had. He also informed me about the special financing that was available. I then encountered an employee name Violeta who was the cashier helping me with the military discount . When it would not take the discount off she explained to me that certain items at Home Depot was not eligible for the discount which I was unaware of and never encountered. So , much respect for these employees who gave excellent customer service which is hard to come by these days. Again I you guys!

Rented a chainsaw, since i was visiting family. (Not my first time troubleshooting/ working a chainsaw.) started up fine when the employee tested it. However air filter was clogged and it could barely move the chain from the beginning. (Yes I adjusted chain tension about 10 different times and used chain lube) even with the air filter off and chain tension loosened it struggled to rev high. I feel sorry for whoever rents that chain saw next…

I went to buy some material for my husband’s project. Mr.Houston, was a gentleman when he helped me. I had my husband on the phone & everything he needed Mr. Houston found with no problem! It was over about 20 things, but like a champ he helped us out. He never lost his professionalism or show any kind of rudeness due to all the things I was asking for. Mr.Houston was very positive, and calm! My husband was able to finish his project & I definitely will recommend all his friends to Mr.Houston. Thank you!!! We are very grateful, I highly recommend this location.

The first woman in appliances was ready for us to leave-We had a lot of questions and when she disappeared,we went to the front and there was Catyzione(sp) with a big mouthful of braces smile!! He was helpful in every way and ordered our dishwasher. He is certainly management potential-we were so pleased he helped.

I purchased 10 gallons of Behar water semi-transparent paint to stain my fence professionally yesterday. The color on the sample had more of a brown based than what I received when I got home But I’m so grateful for Mr. Charles @ Wheatland location. He was understanding & corrected the mistake without any hassle. Thank you for the Awesome customer service!! ?

  1. I’ve generationally always been a Home Depo fan.
This is easily the worst Home Depo I’ve ever been to. I travel all around the US for work. This Home Depo will turn you into a lowe’s person. Unorganized nothing’s in the right place, Fork lifts left on. The majority of isles are blocked. All screws and bins are in disarray. Very sad management should receive training immediately.

  2. This is the most god-forsaken store I have ever had the displeasure of walking into. I could not believe the attitudes of the people that work there. There’s the woman in the paint area who could care less if you’re a customer. Her rudeness beats all I’ve ever seen. There was one man who came in and helped me and my son cut a piece of chain we needed. He was kind. There were two ladies who stopped in the hall and helped me as much as they could. I had been led on a ridiculous hunt for a non-existent steam cleaner when the young man told me it was in aisle 34. Fat Chance! After an exhaustive search, we found out they don’t even carry a steam cleaner. It has to be ordered online. Who would have known? We could not get anybody in any area of that store who seem to want to do their job. They were lazy, rude, and were of no help whatsoever. I can honestly say I will not be coming back to that store. Advice to management; you need to step in and overhaul that store. It is way out of control. I’m sure that as it is right now, you are losing business and losing customers. You lost this one.

  3. This was going to be A One Star but because of Kathy it became a 5 stars review…… Way to go Kathy !!!!!! This is what happen when you go the extra mile for a customer!!!!! This is what happen that almost made it a 1 star review before I interacted with Kathy , on 8-1-23 , I went to the returns department stood in line and watched the customer line decrease very very slow. I happen to see that there were only 3 cashiers working . I quickly noticed there was an employee going super, super slow ??and was wearing sun shades . The other 2 cashiers had already help about 10 to 8 customers to his 1st customer that he so happen to have when I first got in line at the return department. This would have had been A 1 star review but because the super stars Kathy and Ray it because A 5 star review!!!!! When it was my turn to go to the cashier at the return department I got a very beautiful and Very sweet lady by the name Kathy she was very professional and gave me outstanding customer service. I happen to ask her what was the cashier’s name that was wearing the sun shades. She politely answered Charles. Also after walking around the store I so happen to bump into Mrs Kathy on her way towards going to her lunch break. God bless Mrs Kathy she even lead me to were I wanted to go and even took the time to show me how to make a key and Mr Ray help as will. I hope Home Depot will realize what kind of employees they have working for them they have very dad employees that are just there for pay checks and nothing else and they also have the most wonderful ones that care about people and the go well beyond 110% for there customer like Kathy and Ray. These to 2 employees changed my mind about coming back to this Home Depot again …… Please award ? the Great employees ( Kathy & Ray ) ????????????????????????

  4. No help at checkout lines going down. The aisle’s ask for self check outs to open. They said the cash registers were better with checkers. And they only had two checkers to check people out, refusing to open up self check outs.
