a month agoI was able to shop on my own and when I was ready to ask questions and order, Anna was so helpful. I didn’t have to wait more than a few weeks for delivery. The delivery fee was fair and well worth the $. I was kept updated on delivery status and the delivery team could not have been better. 3 weeks agoVisited Designer Looks today, and we had Canaan take great care of us. He was super patient as we went through various options / colours. We could not have asked for a more diligent and helpful sales person. Would highly recommend the team here at Polaris.a week agoThe staff is friendly and offer lots of good information about the product and available options. We had a great experience with Josh who assisted us with our purchase. We went with the finance option and Josh made the process so easy and in few minutes we were done. We also got expedited delivery which came on time and the staff was very professional and respectful. Definitely coming again for more things to buy in the future!2 months agoDelivery truck ripped the cable tv wire down. Damaged the siding on one side of the house. Then drove off without a word. Called the store and manager said it’s not the stores fault. Refuses to pay for the damage. Now have court proceedings started. Don’t buy from this store. 7 month updated. Value City still hasn’t repaired the damaged siding. Keeps asking for a different estimate and want to know how many fasteners and which size is being used.in the last weekWe spent two hours with Grace at the Polaris store. It actually was a very smooth experience working with her as she was calm and knowledgeable about the pieces of furniture we were interested in and gave us several suggestions that would help fit the rooms better!! We’ve worked with several furniture stores in the past and this was by far the best experience we’ve dealt with.a month agoI came in today to look for a new kitchen table and chairs and had such a wonderful experience working with Grace. I knew in my mind what I wanted but have been having the hardest time finding exactly what I want in stores. Yousufaf was the best associate that I’ve come across in years. He welcomed us as soon as we came through the door, showed us many options, and helped us with our final sale. We worked with Chris. Chris was very knowledgeable and very patient with us as we walked through the showroom. He answered all of our questions and also entertained our little one as we shopped. I highly recommend Chris his knowledge and customer service was second to none. We will definitely be shopping at Big Sandy’s in the future, and also looking for the best salesman Chris. If you need ANYTHING go to Big Sandy’s at Polaris and ask for Chris!
Was greeted when I entered the store. Associate pointed me to the area I was looking for. Associate in that area greeted me and asked what I was interested in. Gave me a brief history about Big Sandy’s. Asked what features were important to me and showed me several items that matched them in various price categories. Made some suggestions that were helpful to me in making my decision on which items to buy
My husband and I had a wonderful experience at Big Sandy. We came in looking for a sectional for our apartment, Kaitlin our salesperson was very knowledgeable and gave us plenty of options within our price range. Once we found what we were looking for, it was a seamless checkout process. We will definitely be going back for any new furniture additions!
The whole process at the store level was fantastic. Robert was great, 5 stars to him. Big Sandy Superstore is great. Robert worked with us and gave us all the discounts he could. He took my calls and texts and never let me down.
We bought three households worth of furniture for our rental business, I get it, it was confusing.
The delivery team was the problem.
(UPDATE ….. September 22nd, the store contacted me and returned my delivery fee. They are working with the delivery manager to correct the problem with the delivery team)
The first delivery on August 9th, The feet of the pieces of furniture were placed but all of the screws on all of the feet of the sofas ands chairs were missing. We had to spend hours shopping for hardware and replacing the screws. We had to flip over all of the pieces and finish the work for them. Two couches, 4 chairs and two ottomans. The dinettes also were missing screws in the chairs.
On the second delivery on Sept. 19th, it gets worse! The delivery was made to the wrong address! The delivery guy dropped off the two sofas and two chairs to the wrong house, another cabin we have near by, and to a 13 year old kid! They asked him if was expecting a delivery, he said “ IDK” and they left the sofa and chairs on a deck. They didn’t sign off, they did not ask the name, they just left them outside on a deck. It could have been a strangers house!! No set up and they left. We tried to call after we discovered the mistake and waiting at the correct address, the delivery driver refused to come back and deliver to the correct house and still they are not put together. We ended up moving them to the correct house ourselves, but so much for White glove delivery and set up. I would like my delivery fees returned if possible. ( manager returned my fees)
