I recently moved and had to buy new furniture, so I bought a few things from the Local Flea and am really happy with all of my purchases!! You can find a lot of name-brand items at a good price, and they can ship them anywhere (in the US), so it was perfect for me. Make sure to take advantage of their bidding feature (you can make an offer for the price)!

Purchased a standing desk through their website. Customer service was quick and responsive and very accommodating in arranging my delivery! The desk is in great condition, exactly as pictured, and I got it for a great price.

Went to the Local Flea on recommendation of an interior designer friend. Not too impressed. They did have some nice mirrored dressers. A nice tulip table and chairs from room and board. Some furniture from Arhaus. Everything is secondhand and some of it is unique. I wanted a big painting but no luck. Would go again. I have a feeling this place is luck of the draw.

I used The Local Flea to sell a number of items when I was moving out of San Francisco and I was very pleased with the service. My items were sold quickly and I got cash back super fast. These were items I was fully prepared to donate without any expectation of cash back, so this was a very pleasant surprise. Would gladly use them again!

What not to love? A perfect place for people moving to San Francisco or are looking for older and high quality furniture (or bicycles, equipment for working out, paintings etc.) A very friendly and informative owner/leader with great energy. The prices are the lowest I’ve seen in similar flea markets – most second hand stores have much higher prices. According to the owner, new items arrives every week.

This flea market is so cute , I have never been disappointed here , there’s music playing , jewelry , vintage clothes , jeans , household items , and lots more tiny treasures to find . There also a small bubble station area where kids can play and participate in blowing bubbles . My husband and my self enjoy coming here . It’s not very expensive and they easily are negotiable .

So it was a flea market with really good music. I bought my wife 3 scarfs , one super cool one from Fiji for $4 but we happened to not have change so we took another one and the nice person who helped us threw in another one! Some fun and great vibes; not to mention the Stellar Bloody Mary’s we scored at the Blackthorne. Shout out to the bartender. Headed off to The Bandshell for Reggae Sundays!

Mostly people vending clothes, their closets, or dusty antiques. I was a bit disappointed by the size, but I don’t know what I expected since it was only a block. There was live music, but otherwise a bit of a miss.

It’s fine, had live music which was nice and is very community orientated, but was essentially one block of garage sales.

  1. It’s coming back. It was gone for a long time because of covid. Then it came back slow and today it was really doing much much better. Still not complete but getting there. There are a lot of things there from tools to clothing to antiques. Y’all go check it out. It is really cool. It is San Francisco’s genuine old fashioned flea market complete ✅.

  2. It’s a flea market, and there was a lot of junk. It was still fun to visit and listen to the haggling and see some interesting things.

  3. Classic flea market. Prices VERY cheap, and something for everyone.
Not the biggest one i’v seen, but if your into flea markets, definitely worth a visit.

  4. The market was great before COVID and is slowly returning back to what it once was, it will take some time but it’s on the right road. We’ve never had trouble finding parking here. There are more vendors on the hill, maybe these vendors do not want to be involved in the market but they flock their wares on the sidewalk.
