Super great place to shop at for improvement items and most of the workers there are super kind and helpful. We love this place! we prefer shopping at this place here, located at SW. 3rd St. in the shopping center over any of the other Home Depot’s because the people are the friendliest and always very helpful. Home Depot needs to look at their employees at this place here and give them credit for credit is due.

Very helpful staff. They always have a great selection, and I like that they are a little hidden because then they aren’t usually as busy as other Home Depot’s. Still pretty busy, just not cramped with 8 people in every aisle.

Have my HDX trash bags. Used to be the only brand that didn’t leak. Nothing against Home Depot.. the quality has changed along with the price going up from $13 to less bags for $20 it is disappointing. Yes, out of a box of 13 gallon you now have bags that leak randomly. Same as hefty, glad and any other brand. I have tried them all over the last 17 years. If I have to spend so much for garbage bag I’m thinking go for the trash compactor or construction clean up bags.. just skip the high priced leaky bags.

Rhonda done an absolutely amazing job with the Rental Department . She has done a great job as well training and developing Dani and Sandy. They all three have gone above and beyond on multiple occasions to make sure that I was taken care of . GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE AND FOLLOW THROUGH!

We just had to transport the fridge we bought to the cash register and then to our vehicle from the appliance section with no help offered at all! My 92 year old grandma was with us and it was a miracle just to get an employee to answer a few questions about the fridge. I am not surprised because it’s always the same but this time I am reviewing because I saw at least 10 employees doing nothing who did not ask if we needed help and when my grandma asked for assistance she was ignored. The appliances worker was more concerned with answering hwr personal calls then helping my grandmother’s.

Rented 2 different types of floor sanders from tool rental on a Saturday morning. I picked up the equipment paid the deposit and left. I go home to get started on my floors and the associate in tool rental didn’t give me the power cords. I go to Home Depot in Midwest City to try and get the power cords since it was closest to my house (I have people waiting at my house to get started) and the tool rental associate tells me it is not his problem and I need to take it up with the Shields store. Needless to say 2.5 hours after I rented the damn things I got the power cords. Never again Home Depot. I know Lowe’s has problems but this was ridiculous and the clowns working there act like it is funny or a joke. I don’t understand? Is it that hard to hire competent employees? I won’t be back. Ace hardware store going forward.

Went to this store today. Literally I’m any department that you need help no one is there, ever! I’ve been in this store recently today and several times this month and every experience has been the same. It takes 20 to 30 min to get anyone to come help you in any aspect. Then when you do get some it’s like they’re rushing you because they have so much stuff to do I guess. I mean, hire more people if you’re that short staffed. Literally the running joke about never finding anyone at these stores available to help, is all too true.

I have a business I purchased several tables that were delivered damaged. It takes a lot to return 8 foot tables stainless steel to a store so they contacted corporate to see if they would discount them at 40% and they said no bring them back cause they will only give me 10% but they are really damaged so I guess I have to take them back so sad that they don’t wanna work a deal because all they’re going to do is put it on the floor as an open box buy and sell it for a dirt cheap, but they won’t keep their customer. Happy that already has the tables in their possession.

Absolute worst Home Depot in Oklahoma. Paid ahead to buy materials and inventory shows 145. Made purchase of 45 pieces. Stood for an hour waiting just to be told it’s not in stock. Consistently have problems with this store. Zero people inside this store care. Time to start looking at Lowe’s

Not having a tap and pay option really hurt my shopping experience. I know that’s probably silly and very first world problem.. but it was the difference in me getting to make a purchase or not that day. Overall, very nice store though! Especially pleased with the ‘Plant Rescue’ Area!

How to Shop Smart at Hardware Store Oklahoma City OK: A Quick Tutorial

Shopping at a hardware store can be overwhelming, especially if you’re not sure what you’re looking for. However, with a little preparation and some basic knowledge, you can have a successful and stress-free shopping experience. Here are some guidelines to help you shop at a hardware store:

  • Make a list: Before heading to the hardware store, make a list of the items you need. This will help you stay focused and avoid buying unnecessary items.
  • Do your research: If you’re not sure about a specific product or its uses, do some research beforehand. Read reviews, watch tutorial videos, or ask for recommendations from friends or experts. This will help you make an informed decision and choose the right products for your needs.
  • Dress appropriately: Wear comfortable clothes and shoes that are suitable for browsing through an assortment of items. Additionally, consider wearing clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty, as hardware stores can be dusty.
  • Ask for assistance: If you’re unsure about where to find a specific item, don’t hesitate to ask for help. Most hardware stores have knowledgeable staff members who can guide you to the right aisle or provide advice on product selection.
  • Compare prices: Take the time to compare prices between different brands and stores. This can help you find the best deals and save money.
  • Inspect before purchasing: Before finalizing your purchase, inspect the item carefully. Check for any defects, damages, or missing parts. If you’re buying tools, make sure they feel comfortable and sturdy in your hands.
  • Consider warranties and returns: If you’re buying expensive or complex items, check the store’s warranty and return policy. This will give you peace of mind knowing that you can exchange or return the item if needed.
  • Measurements and specifications: If you’re buying items like hardware fixtures or appliances, make sure to take accurate measurements and note any specific specifications. This will ensure that the items you purchase fit properly and work efficiently.
  • Keep track of receipts and instructions: After making a purchase, keep your receipts and any instruction manuals or warranties in a safe place. These documents may be important in case you need to return the item or reach out to customer support.
  • Consider additional tools and accessories: While at the hardware store, keep an eye out for any additional tools or accessories that can enhance the performance or functionality of your purchases. These may include spare parts, cleaning supplies, or safety equipment.

  1. Update Website! Just spent my whole lunch hour trying to pickup 2 3 1/2×8 fence panels. The cashier calls and makes sure they have them. “They do.” Thank you. Website shows 6. They don’t have them… for 6 MONTHS! Hinges and latches not located on the aisles website says. Get the run around from all the “experts.” Lack of effort at this store has always been well below average!

  2. I bought a painting to paint a closet door and it didn’t work for me, the color was different. I went back to the store to exchange it for another and the young woman, a conceited woman with long black hair, did not want to exchange it for me because she had already opened it. Obviously, I had to open it because I realized that it was not the appropriate color, this woman spoke to her supervisor, an older lady, and they did not want to change it for me. I come back to my truck to leave the paint and back for another. THIS IS WHY I GIVE IT ONLY ONE STAR.

  3. Walked into the Lowes store to purchase some OSB and began loading it up on the cart and almost immediately the cashier came and helped me with the loading. She was very polite and professional! The best visit I ever had at Lowes location! Thank you!

  4. I like their 5% contractor discount. Their Pro desk is always helpful. Lowes is usually stocked with the items we need. Associates generally know off the top of their head where things are.

  5. Open the cap, check and make sure that the sealing is still there before purchase.

I bought a wood putty and realized somebody poked the sealing with finger after I got back home.

I returned to the store and requested refund. Refund took me 10 mins. I went to the item shelf and checked other merchandise. 2 other merchandise were damaged as well as you can see in picture.
