3 months agoThe store is located in an outdoor strip mall, very close to other stores (walking distance). The store is organized and we were able to find face masks, kitchen supplies, clothes, snacks, and dog’s toys at this store location. It’s very clean and easy to find our way around. I wanted to get some jewelry! It’s fake of course? The lady refused, she didn’t bring it to the front she, literally kept it with her. Not to mention I have real gold and diamonds on!!!!!! Well of course I’m BLACK??!!! Hmmm! Not a good look for you mam. I will never go back. Her fellow CO worker comes up and says ohh she’s busy with a customer. No Im not going to let you do that. She never acknowledged me but moved the jewelry. I’m not from here and I’m glad. This store is disgusting!2 months agoCompared to other places this TJ Maxx actually has a lot of nice stuff stocked up, even late on the weekends you’ll be able to find so many nice stuff. The only disadvantage is the lack of assistance. There were some more expensive items locked in glass boxes, but the assistance button on the box is kinda useless. I’m not sure how those buttons work button but for around 7-10 minutes no one came to help. Besides me, two other groups of people were waiting for someone to come unlock the glass boxes to get the item they wanted. They waited for a long time as well, continously pressing the assistance button. I decided to be the one to walk elsewhere to find an employee to help, I asked an employee but that girl gave an annoyed face and had attitude for some reason…?? Other than that, great selection of items!2 months agoI enjoy shopping in T.J. Maxx . It’s super clean and organized. You can find anything you want here. I always get good deals, specially off season. The staff is helpful and nice. If you want to dress up nicely and don’t spend a lot of money here is your place.

2 weeks agoThey have a great collection of clothing, but mainly for women. I don’t think there was anything available for men. They also carry decorative items for home. Halloween products are available. They also have toys for kids. Staff is friendly. Parking should not be an issue.a month agoGreat tjmaxx, I need to stop going here all the time because it’s contributing to my shopping addiction. They always have great deals and good styles. Watch out because things switch out very frequently so sometimes I come in the next day and something I liked is already gone. Also keep in mind fitting room closes 30 minutes before close time.10 months agoConveniently located TjMaxx, close to the Northgate mall. Discount prices for brands, but what I like the most is that it serves for me as a one stop for everything, I can find here clothing, suitcases, seasonal decorations, furniture, electronics, pet supplies, even snacks. Prices as expected are quite decent. Personnel is helpful and overall efficient.3 months agoIt was a nice shop, but I watched two young lads scurry away with a huge haul. I informed the guard and he stated there was nothing he could do. If they neglected to turn off the recorder, there’s no point in having it play. As a result, the cost of all of our products has increased.a month agoI was with a friend and her 6 year old. When asked if we could use the restroom we were told that they didn’t have restrooms. Odd because any other TJ Maxx I’ve been in has bathrooms. They then said we had to walk to a store on the other side of the mall. As we hurried, my friends daughter had an accident because she couldn’t hold it. Not only is this a horrible policy for this store but sad for a company that wants business. We have forwarded this to the city of Seattle as well.

This store is always clean and organzanized and have a wide range of all products!
My girls daughter worked for them and loved it but doesn’t know that there is a certain guideline they have to follow. For so many years she was passed up for promotions they even made up a position to keep her down and it’s thier loss, she now has a dream job makes more in the first month now than after 6 years at TJMax and has room to move up at her new job. Personally I don’t believe in none of it, who said that because your born on earth you have to pay for everything then after working to death then the government moves in and takes it all. It time for change, we need to clean house, get rid of the evil
I love this store for the selection and prices. This would be a 5 star review, if it weren’t for my experience there today. I went in on a whim after not having been in quite a while. I was there for a couple of specific items, but I found so many great items at great prices I ended shopping for a few hours. I had a cart that I had to reorganize twice due to overflowing.
I was there so long, I lost track of time and realized I wouldn’t have time to check out and be on time to pick my kids up from school. I explained my predicament to a couple of employees on the floor and asked if they would hold my cart until I came back. They told me it was no problem, and to take it to the front of the store and they could hold it until closing.
I brought my cart with easily $600 worth of merchandise (a conservative estimate, and a lot of merchandise at their prices) to the cashier’s desk. They also said they would hold it for me until closing, which they said was about 9:15pm. I assured them I’d be back before then. I was going to go right back after picking up my kids, but decided to wait til after dinner since I had plenty of time and at least 3 employees were aware I was coming back. They put my name on it and wheeled it behind the counter.
When I arrived at 8:00pm to pay for my shopping spree, I grabbed a couple more items from the in line display and headed to the front to get my cart. To my dismay, they told me that they had taken it and put everything back in the shelves. I couldn’t believe it. I was there with plenty of time before closing, and over an hour before the time they said I had to be. I was so frustrated that after spending that time in their store, and prepared to spend a considerable amount of money there, I just left. I wasn’t going to go through the whole store again.
I’m disappointed that I left empty handed after putting a lot of exciting finds in my cart, but I just couldn’t give them my business. I felt they didn’t care enough about it to earn it if they were willing to put all that stuff back in the shelf after assuring me they’d hold it for me. I don’t know if I’ll be shopping with this TJ Maxx again, and I honestly doubt they care.
I attached a picture of my overflowing cart. You can’t even see all the items I had in it, and quite a bit more was added after the photo was taken. The bottom of the cart was full, too. They lost several hundred dollars worth of my business today, and possibly a once happy customer forever.
I love the selection at the Tacoma location. Whoever the buyer for Tacoma is has really good taste! The only complaint I have is the aisle are too narrow and the lines to checkout are too long.
