a month agoTook my grands here because they wanted to get something for their parent’s anniversary – they found a heart shaped picture frame in their price range – success – thankfully the oldest vetoed a couple other options that just weren’t their momma’s style7 months agoTJ max is my favorite store. It’s been a year since I bought this towel from Tj max… I tried using this towel and it absorbs water quickly, so I use it to dry wet hair every time I take a bath. I went to the store today to buy more of these towels. I didn’t buy this towel because I didn’t have it, so I bought other Mulguns. Instead, I bought something else. I bought a shower curtain, but when I compared it to the ones next to it, the vinyl I bought was thick and looked good. For make up removers, I like the places marked in the picture. Facial mist is a must to keep your face moist to prevent dryness and wrinkles. I bought 5 hair mousses, and I had one left, so I tried to buy a few more, but today there was none. TJ max is changed by Mulgun every week… I buy a few items that I really like when I see them in the store and use them.3 months agoNot much of a selection anymore. It always looks ran through and ransacked ! I would recommend this location. I’d rather go to Kingstown, Alexandria, or even Tyson’s corner locations.6 months agoVery pitiful and run down location at Potomac Mills. This location has a very poor selection of items. They will also cheat you out of your money. You have to be very careful and watch them closely because the price on the tags will not match the amount that they ring up.a month agoTo junky need to organize properly. Clutter isn’t pleasant to look at.

a month agoI love to find value and quality at affordable prices like the real cashmere sweaters at $75.00 more and less prices, when in regular stores are over $150.00 to $750.00 each.2 years agoTj Maxx always has the best deals. They have great prices of handbags, shoes for women, hair care Products, and Homegoods. I always find something whether I need the item or not. Lol. The fitting rooms are now open which is great bc they used to be closed. They only have one set of registers at the parking lot side of the store. They removed the registers in the back of the store at the mall entrance. I think that sucks bc the lines in tjmaxx stay longggg.in the last weekThe store was clean and well stocked, and the staff was courteous and friendly.3 weeks ago1ST TIME IN THIS STORE ( JUS PASSING THRU) BUT IT WAS THE MOST OVER STOCKED & UNORGANIZED “HOMEGOODS” STORE I HAVE EVER BEEN IN & THE CLEARANCE SECTIONS THRU OUT THE STORE WERE RIDICULOUS- BROKEN GLASSWARE, ITEMS STOLEN OUT OF PACKAGES,ETC. I honestly feel that this is the best T.J. Maxx in the Virginia Beach/Norfolk area. This location is always stocked very well. The checkout line can be long but the cashiers make it move fairly quickly. I also love how they’re very diverse in their products. I’m obsessed with the African-American Santas and Christmas collection! You can NOT beat their cheap prices for high-quality products. I can never leave without buying something. I highly recommend this store!
This TJ Maxx and Homegoods joint location is absolutely huge. It used to be my favorite before the one opened in Red Mill (it’s nicer).
Still, this is a great option if you are looking for something specific and want to come and have tons of options.
They have some dry foods and kitchen wares, home decor, lamps, clothing, shoes, outdoor furniture, bathroom items, etc.
Tons and tons of decor inside – mostly nautical themed due to it being in a beach town – so if you are looking for something specific to decorate your home – you are probably going to be able to find it here!

I’m always amazed by the number of shoppers in this location. Management always does their best to have multiple cashiers open. The selection was good and well organized.
Danger! Danger! Danger! Just stepping one foot across the stores threshold, and you are sucked into the sales vortex. You can’t escape. There are fantastic Sales! Sales! Sales! All over the store. Women wear men wear, boys wear, girls wear, baby wear, you name it they got you covered. I went in to get a pair of swim trunk, before I knew it I was searching the line of clothing. Bought 2 pairs of shorts, 3 shirts. Then it hit me, the shoppers vortex was grabbing my arms, sucking me in, i was being taken over by the Shoppers Body Snatcher. I raced quickly over to my wife and discovered that she had been taken over already. Her shopping cart was being loaded as she looked at me with her smile. I knew then that I needed to GET OUT of the stores grip if I was to survive. So, I said see you later but not before seeing what you would not believe. It looked like a dog in a stroller, but I knew it was the final stage of Shoppers Guilt…check out my photos. You decide for yourself what it is. I got to run, but you, the reader, have got to sound the alarm. Their prices are a bargain, rich with deals, rack after rack. Warn the World that this store is pulling the patrons in, car after car, mothers and daughters, men and women, and even babies riding on their mothers’ hips. I love this TJ Maxx. The staff is friendly and warm. It is always organized and neat inside. It’s easy to find things. Great prices on quality items. The toddler section is kind of small though and the lines are always long!
