Plants seem to be dumped there to die, which some have, no discount prices on them. Otherwise I would have bought 2 crassulas because I am experienced with them. Lovely cafe
My favourite nursery in Geelong … BUT … one of the ladies at the front counter was disappointingly aloof, treated us with disdain, didn’t offer any helpful advice or help, and displayed an unnecessary combative approach. This is so disappointing seeing as all the staff working amongst the plants are very eager to help and offer advice. Three years ago when we experienced similar treatment by this lady we thought it was a one-off. Why would any business support such an individual that diminishes its reputation and drags the other staff down? And we see this experience is not an uncommon occurrence. It doesn’t make any sense. We’ll keep supporting our favourite nursery but will make a point of forewarning others about her.
Very nice place first stopped at the Cafe to get some lunch before buying plants.
Staff in the Cafe did not acknowledge us and refused any eye contact , after standing there for 10 minutes and feeling embarrassed we left.
Love this nursery, have spent a lot there while redoing our gardens. Have always found the staff friendly and helpful until I had the displeasure of meeting the manager. She was very arrogant, rude, and condescending. Definitely left a bad taste. I hesitate to go back there.
Quite honestly fantastic. Massive selection of plants of all kinds. Got an entire tray of something I thought I would never see. Will definitely be back again
