It was an extremely busy evening and not an empty table. Great selection and choice. Waiting staff were initially attentive, but unfortunately, this didn’t last, and we often had to ask for more drinks. Normally, that would be fine with me when a place is busy however out server seemed to spend their time chatting to colleagues. Only a group of 5 and struggled to hear anyone across the table. Still a very nice experience, I liked the decor and fun atmosphere. The food was fantastic, and I definitely enjoyed ?

Couldn’t get a table at any restaurants nearby so came to chin chin which had ample seating. Was actually super surprised at how much I enjoyed the food here.

The sashimi with a touch of wasabi was my favourite. All the dishes were pretty good and so were the desserts (the yogurt one is a miss though).

Service was relatively good, waitresses walk around regularly so they’re easy to flag down.

Sunday lunch before our afternoon of cocktails… What can be said about Chin Chin that hasn’t already been said. Typical business model, works perfectly fine as long as the food is on point – which it was.

Nothing overly special & nothing to really fault except food piling up before we had time to finish the plate before. It’s all in the timing!

I tried the Melbourne shop many years ago. Very happy to have a chance to visit Chin Chin Sydney. Great atmosphere and vibe.

The dishes came quite quickly. Most of them have strong flavours and a bit too salty. If you have order plain rice, it maybe better because you can serve with rice. But I think it’s better to adjust the seasoning of the dishes. But we still like the chicken wings and the pork belly. Chicken wings are well seasoned. Pork belly is delicious and crispy.

The cocktails are quite good and looks pretty too.

Just one word – Excellent! We went with the ‘chef’s banquet’ meal which is $110 per person. The selection of food was fabulous and the quantity was really good too. Keep up the good work guys. The lamb ribs were simply mind blowing
