Also, this location is super pushy with the credit card sales. I was asked THREE times after I declined initially. This location is also a bit underwhelming in terms of stock. It was clean though. UPDATE: went again and this time it was incredibly understaffed and there was an employee just watching the line rather than helping their fellow employees with the literally huge line. And it was still underwhelming in terns of stock and there are literally no plus clothes whatsoever. NOT A FAN3 months agoUnderstaffed, wasnt noted when a large price came up. Credit card spiel isnt clearly worded. Otherwise product is as expected. 20 minute line time was ridiculous for an average day. Person did ask if I found everything ok…odd for the more classic reseller store.6 months agoThe store typically has everything I’m looking for, and of course, everything I don’t. My favorite thing about this place is that I can get so many organization things and toys for a very good price. The line typically moves pretty quick when you’re ready to check out. My only complaint is how annoying it is to buy something big, and I can’t take the carts out because there’s no cart return. I almost always have my baby with me, and it’s not necessarily feasible to take the cart back to the store while it’s raining, with a 1.5 year old. So, I carry everything plus my son so I don’t have to go back to the store.3 months agoUnderstaffed. Manager Olivia watched her two young cashiers struggle to keep up as we waited in line 30 minutes. She informed the line that there was a delay; however, she never stepped in to assist. Just watched while they worked. Poor excuse for a manager.

Marquiose was AMAZING! He greeted us as a friend and I entered and asked if we needed help finding anything. We had a short conversation and then continued on to shop. When we were ready to check out, he was our cashier and was SO friendly and just a breath of fresh air. Not only is he a great manager but the atmosphere he had in the store was infectious. We will definitely be back to shop soon!
I can always find great items. The prices are amazing, and you can count on them having wonderful clearance items for those on a budget.
Yesterday September 9 I was there and a lady looks like not normal health issues came with swimming suit and filled a cart with lots of clothes and jewelry walked out with out paying. Security officers were by the door talked to her but did NOTHING. I asked a lady why and was told store policy. What a STUPID store policy.
If they do NOTHING why are the security officers by the enterance ? They can’t call police either?????
If they do NOTHING why do you need security guards?
This is the most outrageous thing I saw in my life.
REALLY nice store, well stocked, merchandise in order and not unorganized and all over the floor. Staff was not imposing but helpful when needed. This was my first visit but I DEFINITELY plan on being coming back to this location.
I am beyond livid so I went shopping this weekend at both TJ Maxx locations 8600 Ward Parkway KCMO and 1640 NW Chipman Rd Lee Summit MO. They give you the option to recieve receipt by email or paper ( I have found it helpful and used this feature often) this time when I selected both it ask for your phone number (WHY) if I am requesting by email & paper so I put in phone number it located my email. Cool not thinking anything I barely made it to my car then I started get this calls from numbers that are not recognized back to back non stop. I have been blocking numbers since yesterday OBVIOUSLY you sold my number or something happened and I’m T’d….??
