a week agoI’m posting this review because of what is a new “rule” at TJ Maxx in New Orleans. It’s happened to me twice in the last week at 2 different stores. Apparently, the bathrooms have become off limits to customers. Appears to be a lot of confusion among the staff on this new maneuver. I’ve been told they’re right over there (of course they are that’s where they’ve always been, but now they are blocked off). Then another staff say’s no they’re still out of order. At another store staff say’s “they’re no longer available to customers “. When I inquired at the checkout, I got the “they’re out of order” storyline. As a 60 something female who spends a ton of money in TJ’s each year and has to pee a lot, I’m appalled. I’m seriously reconsidering my shopping at this chain. A bad move, a very bad move.in the last weekAlways find something. 5 months agoSeems to have a better selection than stores on tye southshore. Great prices.a month agoShop here often. Great selection of decor, toys, household items and of course clothes and shoes. This store always has a lot of merchandise and marks it down very often.4 months agoStore was a bit crowded and the employees were stocking with buggies and boxes blocking isles. Which left the store looking very messy. Several people needed help at the jewelry counter and stood there trying to catch employees’ attention for over 10 mins. Cashiers were too busy doing other things behind the counter to check customers out even though their lights were on.5 months agoStore is always clean and organized. The staff is always helpful and friendly. The quality of the merchandise is amazing. The prices are incredible ! They have no competition3 months agoGoing to a wedding on the 5th of August, and needed an outfit. I walked in, looked at some shirts and there it was. The outfit that I needed, there right in front of me. Tried on on it fit me, and bought it, and left. Such a perfect Saturday!

Me and my family won’t be going back. Filled a cart with items and as the woman is checking us out she’s throwing half the things we grabbed behind the counter saying she won’t sell them to us because they’re “defective.” I’m sorry I thought we were at the Maxx not at saks fifth. The fact that something is weird about it is how it got in this store in the first place. What a waste of time this place has turned into. If I’m willing to purchase items at a no refund merchant then I should be able to buy what’s on the shelves. There just isn’t a version of this trip that makes any sense. So they can have their snooty employees and broken junk. I’ll just start getting my knick knacks at social concerns. It’s more or less the same quality anyway.
