3 weeks agoThis beach is simply gorgeous! It’s the perfect destination for a family outing. The sand is clean and the water is inviting. I highly recommend bringing a BBQ to enjoy a sunny day meal right by the sea. The atmosphere is relaxing and it’s great for kids to play around. Plus, the sunset views are breathtaking. Don’t forget sunscreen and perhaps a frisbee or volleyball for some fun activities. It’s an ideal spot for making lasting family memories.3 weeks agoFantastic flat beach. Walk a mile or more! Video shot at low tide, at north end, near the river. No fees. Dogs are limited to the south end of the beach. Plenty of parking in several areas. The park provides toilets, changing rooms, grassy areas, camping, picnic tables, plenty of shade. Bring an umbrella for shade on the beach. (Update 2024) Note to less able-bodied: several of the beach access points have been washed out.2 months agoThat picture was taking a couple weeks ago, Beautiful location excellent for the family, very safe. Very Long Beach never really seems to fill up. Also some excellent walks right down to the end of the beach.3 years agoBeautiful view, cool breeze, its is a good place for walking taking the kids for a day out during summer and hot day, alot of spaces for parking and trees for sitting under the shade and enjoy the view. Fantastic Beach, Family friendly play ground available shops and bakery,s near by.
You can sit up on the grass looking over the water or head down to the sand .
Great beach with many places nearby to grab food and drink. Plus a really nice playground for the littles!
The beach is close to the town which means you can park the car and enjoy shopping.
I love the location where you can walk to grab a coffee and sit on the bench while looking at the beautiful beach.
There are restaurants and bars close to and if you want to do shopping. It is just a minutes away !
Lovely and beautiful place, with a lot restaurants ,shops around the beach and two supermarket very nice. People happy , play the music,sing and dancing in the street. Amazing view.
Great family place, lots for the kids to do including water sports and play area.
