Lots of wide open spaces for playing frisbee or ball games. Three different beaches and one is allocated for your dog. Play equipment such as swings and slides, BBQ and picnic tables available, with ample parking in street or in privided car park. Toilets are medium clean, but usable.

scenic location with calm waters and lots of beach access points along the park trail. We visited this area on a Wednesday and it was quiet as…highly recommend a visit to chill out for a weekday afternoon without the crowds.

My favourite place to launch the kayak in Brisbane. You do need a high tide though. There’s kayaks & SUP’s for hire and a coffee van for the post paddle coffee.

Great beach, playground and park area, with walking tracks, barbecues and several small protected sandy beaches, and a wonderful off leash dog area at the dog beach. Personal water-craft available for hire, and coffee van at weekends ?

Unfortunately, we arrived at the low tide, and after a storm. Water was extremely dirty and muddy, thus ruining the day at the beach otherwise, this is a nice place to go with a family.

  1. Great Park right next to the beach in Redcliffe. Plenty of shaded areas with places to sit and park benches too. There is a walking cycling path that goes for 10 km between the park and the beach. The park is very well maintained and very clean. There is access to the road above and plenty of parking at either end.

  2. Beautiful park with bbq spots, nice beach and cool playground for toddlers. Usually there is an ice cream truck on the weekend. Parking is hard to find during weekend but worth the hassle since it’s a nice place to hang out on the weekend.
