A city’s botanic gardens are a good measure of its character. The Albury gardens are neat, beautiful, and well maintained. Small but totally adequate with a lovely range of trees and open grassy areas. Would be a great spot for a picnic and some lawn games.
Took a night halt at Albury on our way to Melbourne Ocenic Drive. Since we arrived early we visited the Albury Garden. It was a nice walk through the huge trees and various flowering plants of African and South Amrican origin. View huge trees with various hews. Play area for kids . Sundail, wishing well and statue worth seeing.
Visited this place to take a break from driving on the way to Melbourne. But loved the park. Beautifully curated lawns, eye pleasing flowers and different children’s park. Loads of park benches and surprise part is, toilets were very clean. Had a rejuvenated break from drive. Highly recommended!
