Great park to host a community event. Beautiful walk along the waterfront and a quiet sensory garden halfway along. We spent the morning showing our support for world suicide prevention day. This park allowed people to show their support for this important cause

Lovely walk along the waterfront. Not much play equipment but there’s plenty of open spaces for kids to run wild. Used to be a good fishing spot, not sure how good it is now. Water was very clear when i went.

  1. We visited on a week day and were a little surprised by this lovely location, one that we had passed by so many times. Very convenient parking, including ‘disability’,and the flat easy access to the galleries, Cafe and garden enables people of all ages to enjoy the peaceful surrounds. Entry is free, the food is very good, the toilets are very clean and a gift shop with a focus on Japanese style products are all positives of a visit here.
Gardens may be relatively small but has water features as main focus with well maintained gardens and good seating throughout.

  2. These gardens are beautiful! Smaller than I expected but between the ducks, the koi fish and the flowers, there is enough to keep you entertained for around an hour. Very well maintained and a relaxing atmosphere. I suggest bringing a blanket if you want to sit on the grass. ??

  3. Pick up a two buck bag of fish food at the shop in Gosford Regional Gallery and head to the Koi Pavilion in the Edowaga Japanese Garden. Rustle the paper bag and watch the ducks and koi stream in. Empty the whole bag into the water and watch the writhing mass of kicking legs and fins. It’s not in keeping with the manicured and relaxing vibe of the garden, but it is funny.
