4 weeks agoGorgeous park, beautiful view, great adventurous place for adults and kids including boating, helicopter rides and swings. Loved the horse-riding things with little pony’s. Thankyou ♥️in the last weekI always visit this place and because of the beautiful scene and the ambiance is cool that helps me calm my mind and have a good time to wnjoy a peaceful moment.2 months agoWe really enjoyed our November walk along the boardwalk along the shore. Quiet and relaxing spring walk in the sunshine.2 months agoWhat a beautiful renovation from what it looked like 10yrs ago. Absolutely stunning. The water pond area with layers of rock looked like the pink terrace.. my thoughts though. Well done whanau.4 months agoThe lake front looks great it’s been done up so well a nice place to unwind. Unfortunately when rain is predicted you get swarms of midgees so bad you have to cover your mouth and nose and they are only in parts of the lake front , get away from those and it’s a beautiful walk. ?

Awesome playground for the kids with beautiful views of the lake. I love what they’ve done with the playground it has a different area for the different age stages and a path for scooter or bike riding.
It also has a basket ball court and plenty of space for picnic under the trees. The lakefront walk is so stunning. I love what they’ve done with the track paths so you can walk infront of the lake. This was the best during night time however lots of mosquitos.
The playground has a great lively atmosphere and very close to everything. Walking distance to the restaurants, stores and hotels. The public toilets are clean and spacious. Lots of parking nearby. When we visited there were still construction going on , on the other side but the playground and the lake front walk path was complete.
Good place to be for kids. Many options to have a good time. Our grandsons loved it. And if we were younger we will do the same.
The Lakefront Playground in New Zealand is hands down the best playground we have ever experienced. The playground boasts modern and well-maintained equipment that is in pristine condition. It is evident that great care is taken to ensure everything is in top shape for children to enjoy.
But what truly sets this playground apart is its breathtaking view of the lake. The scenery is simply awe-inspiring. Imagine playing on the swings or climbing structures while being treated to a picturesque backdrop of the lake. The sight of swans gracefully gliding across the water, helicopters soaring above, and boats cruising in the background adds an extra touch of magic to the whole experience.
The combination of the fantastic playground equipment and the mesmerizing view creates a truly memorable and immersive playtime. It’s a place where children can let their imaginations run wild while being surrounded by the beauty of nature. Whether you’re a local or a visitor, this playground is an absolute must-visit. It will undoubtedly leave you with lasting memories of fun-filled adventures and the stunning scenery of the lake.
A very Comfortable place for Kids, huge playground good place to chill out with family , the new playground looks beautiful 2023. Thanks to Rotorua Council for development. ?????????????✌????
Whoever designed this playground clearly doesn’t have children or doesn’t have a great imagination. What kind of designer puts loose stone and gravel next to a scooter track. There’s room for a full court yet they only put in a 1/3 court. There’s hardly any bright colour and the giant slide is lame. They should take a look at Cornwall Park in Hastings for some inspiration.
