a week agoCute place to park the car, walk around, and have a picnic. Few of the water is pretty- especially a good spot for sunrise and sunset. Loved grabbing a book to sit around or taking a jog here. But can be super windy2 weeks agoBeautiful place ? you will fall in love with the beautiful scenery around. A well placed lighthouse we stopped there just to take a break and realised this is one of the nice cities in Sydney. I think around 1.5hrs drive from Sydney but well equipped with all the amenities. We were not able to roam around much due to hail storm but would definitely like to go again.a month agoBeautiful place with good view of ocean from lighthouse. Nice playground suitable for baby and the big kids. Have zipline, high slider until for baby slides, swings. Very nice place. Near the ponds, can the ducks. Near the beaches. Have toilet n baby change, just walk from the playground. Have a coffee shop nearby. I really like this place. Can see people landing from Skydiving
Great place for a family gathering with friends and a place to enjoy a BBQ next to the see. There are also restaurants in the area. Negatives are that it can be windy, parking can be scares and seabirds harass you. With no wind this is the perfect picnic spot to sit on the lawn and kids playing away or swimming in the river or sea.
Excellent good size park & gardens. It’s got a big modern, clean & safe playground which is good for all ages. Toilets + drinking fountain is a great addition to the park. Easy close off-street parking. Good size gazebo up on top of the hill with amazing views of the park & the ocean, it’s got plenty of surprisingly clean seating up there aswell. There’s good ☕️ coffee not far away. Its not a busy place but very easy to waste away the hours just watching the dog ? walkers & the skydivers go by….
Perfect place to go on a picnic next to the ocean even have a barbecue while a lot of room for kids to spread their wings
Fantastic playground and sensory space specifically designed for people with disabilities
