3 weeks agoOverall was happy with the accommodation. Room was clean.Kids loved looking at the animals. Nice and close to the shops to be able to get food etcetera.
8 months agoGreat place to stay, quite, comfy beds and close to town. We (3 adult males) stayed 4 nights for business. We required an extra bed last minute the staff were more than accommodating to help. The only reason i didn’t give 5 star was the curtains would not close fully (too short) and it let light in and we had to retune the TV to get all the channels.6 months agoRooms are clean. Staff was very welcoming. Also great shower. Will def stay again when in Lismore.3 months agoNot a bad place to stay. Close to everything in the town in walking distance.a year agoRooms very spacious and tidy, great shower and good beds. Stayed in room 13, in the quieter hours of the night a lot of toilet and shower noise from room above. Noisy occupants as well. Still enjoyed stay.

Old run down motel with very rude staff.
Looks nothing like the photos on the website. Reception hours not as advertised. Organising after hours check in was a hustle and was told on email, that I was lucky they were letting me stay there… whatever this means.
Booked double room but got a single smelly room near the stairs. Couldn’t sleep coz of the noise. Had to move to another hotel
This motel is the most dirtiest and unhealthy motel ever I would NOT recommend staying there , there is mold all through out it it’s ran down falling apart there is so many health hazards the bathrooms/Rooms reek of a bad smell there is is flood mud in the bathrooms the drains are clogged with slime hair and gunk the staff do not care at all , Very rude to guest the manager is no help at all he’s very very racist, if you complain about something he just giggles about it, all the bath towels has stains on them they are NOT fresh linen the pillows cases are disgusting as they aren’t fresh either the kettle and toaster and microwave and the cutlery were not cleaned , the paint is peeling off the walls there is dust all over the joint. false advertising the rooms do not look like the pictures not one bit, if you have children please do NOT stay there , if you are a sickly person do NOT stay there, I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND STAYING THERE , Lismore city motor inn will not be seeing me again as it’s a waste of money.
The location is really good. The rooms were nice and clean when we first came in and the late check in option was easy to use. The parking space is tight so consider street parking if you have a big car as the spaces are limited, very close to each other and the clearance of the archway at the entrance may not fit cars with roof attachments. Also, the mattress on the double bed felt like it was sinking, so that was a downside. Another thing I think we’d appreciate is some bug spray in the room.
Got into town so had find something as I didn’t do much research thinking I wouldn’t make Lismore.
LCMI was an option at 8pm.
As I entered I was a pre booked n paid room as the intended client wasn’t coming. Normally the room was $240 but got it for $170. One thing I didn’t expect was the political views of the receptionist ??. Took room at $170 n was very disappointed.
While many upgrades have been done to room I think they tried to turn a pigs ear into a silk purse.
Fridge was constantly on keeping me awake.
Street light into room made it like dawn all night. Curtains were not block out.
Bed was comfortable
I’m never after 5 star by choice, comfortable n basic is fine at a reasonable price as it’s just a room n roof over my head. This did not meet any of these choices.
It’s a shame n appears this business is attempting to recoup money after natural disasters. Better to attract clients with reasonable prices. Some of the previous recent reviews are spot on. Do your research n don’t take online pics as a given. Definitely 3.5 stars no more than that. Security to room is minimal so don’t leave any valuables behind just in case. As I did don’t get roped into any political commentary.
Ross is an absolute champion, for the past 2 months, I have had all of my workman staying at Lismore City Motor Inn. I have had to change dates multiple times on him, add the number of rooms and people to bookings and Ross has accommodated all of my requests with ease, flexibility and with a smile on his face – he has been amazing! Thank you Ross, I couldn’t have made this project happen without you!!! You’re the best!
