3 months agoSpent around half an hour trying to find a change table for my baby at YAM today, I had two of the lovely library women helping me look because they also had no idea where the heck the change tables were located. Of course the down stairs one was apparently locked behind a rolling door and couldn’t be accessed! And so I had to go to the one on level 3… which was not big enough to fit a pram in the room and the change table was obviously not thought through because the height was ridiculously high and hard to lift my baby up to change his nappy.Think through your designs before building them. Anyone shorter than me would not be able to reach their baby on the change table.

Well done, everyone involved, you have made Coffs Harbour a better place. On budget, because “that is how we roll”. Great opening speech too. And thanks to the Prime Minister for coming to Coffs.4 months agoA total credit to the town, the council, the architects & builders. It will transform the library & arts experience in the area I’m sure. Plus the building sets a high bar for new construction in the CBD too. Love the library & use it alot. There is a free internet service but i mostly use it for music cd’s , videos and magazines. The magazines are well organized and broad ranging. The borrowing machine is also easy to use. I find the staff helpful and friendly. Toilet facilities are also good.
Me and my boyfriend visited here today because he has a last minute university exam while we were on holidays. The staff here was so accommodating for us when we arrived and helped us prepare. I can’t thank them enough! Would recommend this library to anyone, they are extremely helpful.
