Worth the visit just to experience and DEFINITELY worth the visit if you’re shopping for fresh produce. Wow, really wish we had something like this where I live that isn’t a commercial grocer.

All I wanted was some fresh fruit as a snack and I was not disappointed. Fantastic!

There are also vendors with prepared food, coffee, clothing, jewelry, gifts. A nice place to support locals.

Excellent selection of tropical fruits, especially jackfruit and bananas. Highly recommend the monkey bananas. We came back 2 weekends in a row just for the fruits.

The Thai raw papaya salad is awesome, as are the quiches from Frenchies!

    Veges usually overpriced.

We had crepes and coffee for breakfast here and they were delectable. This was a great place for fresh produce which we did get. There are plenty of vendors there to purchase trinkets and gifts.

  1. Cairns is a beautiful place with a busseling night life. You can enjoy a lovely stroll along the foreshore on a promenade boardwalk. There are heaps of pubs and restaurants and a marketplace to get a full taste of the cultural mixing bowl that is Cairns. There is a massive swimming pool and kids water park right o the foreshore which will keep children entertained for hours.

  2. What can I say. First time at any night markets like this and OMG. 100 percent recommend. We went due to Stop over on our P&O cruise and this is a must do. Also do yourself a favour and book a cruise.

  3. Fantastic experience at Cairns Night Market with exceptional hand-made pasta and delicious fried Japanese chicken. A must-visit for great food and atmosphere. Solid 5 stars!

  4. Food at the night markets from several store Thai/Chinese was terrible and not even warm. Four of us left with barely eating our meals and ?we don’t end up with food poisoning. These spring rolls were pretty much empty and the brown meat is meant to be chicken. The Chinese restaurant in the photos make you prepay and now I know why because once you taste the temperature of the food you will ask for a refund. Thai was atrocious chicken was brown and spring rolls empty and both operators do not care
