3 months agoThe Malaga markets is my company’s standard Friday lunch and a drink with our team. Always something yummy to try from all cuisines around the world. Weekends you’ll find live music as well.4 weeks agoReally nice roast beef and gravy rolls. Also had roast dinner (take away) which was really good too. Lots of small shops, fruit & veg, bakery etc. I have also bought coffee beans from Coffee Connection – good variety to choose from & always busy.10 months agoIt is not a huge market like other markets in WA but it has got something for everyone. It has a wide variety of fresh produce, fashion, accessory, specialty and service stores. Sometimes, we buy our weekly bread, fresh fruit, vegetables and meat here. Great markets! It is super busy, so if you don’t like people, this is not for you! Lots of stalls, amazing artwork, great food, something for everyone. Entry is free.
The fruit stands were great and super well priced. We purchased wine, fruits, fudge, nuts & a few other local things. Great place to stock up on snacks before heading to the beach for the day
Loved the vibe out here! Lovely place to do everyday shopping, veggies, fresh fruits, juices, local sellers, some antiques, cloths, precious stones. Also some good Foodjoints are here.
Fremantle Markets happen to be my absolute favourite weekend spot in Perth. We usually take the train there as it’s so easily accessible and the train journey is absolutely scenic. The markets have a wide variety of shops including fresh fruit juice, fresh fruits and vegetables, handmade jewelleries, handmade soaps, honey and much more. You can expect to find the kind of things that would not be usually ohms in other shops in the city. The vibe of the place is just completely different and just so lively. There is often live music by local artists and frequented by tourists. Wonderful place to spend a nice morning in Perth.
For every regional place we visit, the marketplace is something we never miss.
The desire to look at local produce, art and craft, and culture brought us to Fremantle markets.
The place was super crowded. A potpourri of colours from clothing, paintings, jewellery, knick knacks, and fragrances from candles, soaps, and food stalls keeps pulling you in a different direction.
But we found the items overpriced and nothing overly special.
Lots of clothing are targeted toward young and hip beach goers.
Worth a visit to understand local culture and buy some gifts back or a souvenir or two.
BEWARE of pickpockets. We spotted we suspicious looking people pretending to shop along but clearly targeting bags of other people.
Really nice market! You can find souvenirs, clothes and a lot of hand made stuff. There are a good amount of fresh fruit/veg. stalls and many options of savory food, from different countries!
