a month agoOver the many years I have absolutely enjoyed the Fat Noodle Member specials. It’s such good value for money and they do not compromise in the quality and the flavours of the dishes. I leave feeling satisfied every time. We do order off the menu too. I don’t like to pay too much for Bahn Mi but that Crispy Pork Belly was just so tasty. The service is great too. Even when they are extremely busy the staff are there to accommodate. Thank you to all the staff and the chefs for your amazing hard work. I highly recommend the food here.3 months agoMy experience at the Fat Noodle restaurant in Brisbane was quite intriguing. Unfortunately, the special of the day was a letdown – it was dry and lacked both sauce and flavor, ultimately leading me to return the dish. However, I must commend the manager for being incredibly understanding and generous, offering me another dish at no charge.Opting for the Singaporean laksa turned out to be a wise decision. The broth was delightfully rich and bursting with flavors. The portions of chicken, seafood, and noodles were ample, though the absence of vegetables was a downside for me. Despite the initial hiccup, the restaurant redeemed itself with a satisfying meal, thanks in part to their accommodating manager.
4 months agoThis was our first time and it was a thoroughly enjoyable experience. We ordered two dishes. Pork pad see ew and Roti curry. The pad see ew was full of that smokey sweet flavour. It was cooked to perfection. The roti curry had spice and flavour as you would expect, however there wasn’t enough roti bread. The service was exceptional. Staff would make sure you were taken care of. Will definitely be coming back.2 months agoService – 5/5; very fast and attentive. We Sat outside and were worried we might get forgotten but the lovely young lady was great.Atmosphere – 5/5; place was packed on a Saturday night
Food 4/5 – Wish I could rate this higher – the entree’s were amazing. Especially the Sashimi, the quality blew us away. Unfortunately the mains (we both ordered chicken laksa) left a lot to be desired. It was by no means bad, but any laksa from a food van or market would knock it out of the park. Not much ingredients or depth of flavour it just tasted very creamy. For this reason had to rate it 4/5… however I would still like to return and try other mains!
in the last weekSomewhat disappointed with the food quality as I have had my dish overseas many times before and was much tastier. Very bland this time and was not hot when served at table indicating precooked, not freshly cooked. And it came out very quick. Service was average. Atmosphere was nice but extremely busy. Would I recommend… no.

Such a good place to visit- pretty much every decent cuisine here. There’s always a big crowd and it’s usually difficult to find a seat so either go early or late. Parking is free and it’s $6 entry per person. Some places don’t take cash
It’s a good vibe. Nice outlook, good bands.
Food choices are good, quality is a bit hit and miss.
Prices have doubled in the last year or two. $6.00 for a satay chicken skewer. $22.00 for loaded fries as some examples.
For a couple of drinks dinner and dessert, you won’t get change from $80.00pp.
Been here multiple times over the past 4 years and it’s one of my favourite spots to bring new friends / backpackers I meet in Australia! Always goes down a treat. Entry is $6 per person but it’s definitely worth it. The vibes, the food, the atmosphere and the live music are all amazing! 10/10! I highly recommend it if you visit Brisbane!
