Having been to the Newmarket Reading Cinema my expectations were high. After a long walk around harbour town it’s definitely nice to rest your legs but it would be even better if the seats had leg rests ?.

Me and my family went to see anyone but you in gold class, and was served by the lovely Lauren. She was very helpful and answered any questions we had! Will definitely be coming back soon.

The smell in cinema 5 is overwhelming. At first we thought a child had urinated all over the floor but now think that it’s probably a mouldy air conditioner. Either way it makes it uncomfortable to sit through a movie

  1. The best drive-in cinema in Queensland, where the owner maintains the old-school cinema vibe that takes you back to your younger days, complete with a touch of nostalgia! The movies cater to various genres and age groups, making it enjoyable for everyone. My little one absolutely loves it there! ?

  2. Had a wonderful night seeing a film here. We are from Melbourne and wanted to do something fun but the floods didn’t leave a lot of options. Very pleasantly surprised to discover this place and that it was open and unaffected by floods at the time we went.

Very affordable and fun night out. Especially good value if you bring a family.

Despite this there is one downside and that is mosquitoes. I didn’t take any stars off my review because that’s the outdoors and nature for you. Management can’t really be held accountable for mosquitoes simply existing so I don’t think it’s fair that some felt it necessary to leave 1 star reviews over mosquitoes. Just bring some mozzie repellent and you’ll be golden.

  3. Don’t waste your money. Between the gentle wafts of the refuse dump 500 mtrs away, the sound of the next screen / movie over powering our movie during dramatic / softly spoken sections and drivers leaving their cars running as they were ‘hot’, coupled with the chance of getting Ebola due to the mozzie farm I can honestly say I’ve had more fun at church.
