The place was really really busy on a Saturday morning and pretty chaotic and overwhelming with a smell of burned oil!a year agoThere are times when you just find the best breakfast in town or maybe ever. It was certainly a great idea to get here at 8am, by 8.08, it was packed. Friendly service, amazing food, and coffee. The owner, Nathan, took the time to talk to us about the business. We even got into discussing smoked bacon, plus he gave me a small cryovaced sample to take home. If you ever pass thru Armidale, this is the place to stop. 12/10. ????

Whenever I have gone by this establishment it has always been hoppin’ and after one visit you will understand why. If you want to dismiss the delicious array of baked goods, which you really shouldn’t, and skip to the service, food for order, and coffee, you will miss out on some absolutely scrumptious pastries but you will still be met with amazing service and delicious food.
They have absolutely delicious coffee and a great menu of huge portions. We ordered the French toast special to split and we’re happy at that because it was so much food, and so filling! Mind you we still fought for the last bite.
Super cute, great coffee, and fantastic food means you’ll understand why this spot is often busy.
No wonder this place is booming on a Saturday mornings. How good is this place?! The staff are friendly the coffe is good and the food is tasty.
There maybe a wait for food but honestly who cares when the coffee is a winner a d it is Saturday morning enjoy and relax. It is worth tge wait!
And the bread oh my – that fruit bread/loaf they do is hands down the best I have ever had now i wish I bought 2 loaves!
Definitely make this place a stop when you visit Armidale you won’t be disappointed.
Fantastic coffee, we also had the hash brown which was made on-site and the egg and bacon roll was also amazing. The tomato relish on bacon and egg roll was also made on-site and was amazing. I would have loved to buy a jar and take home though they don’t sell it. Wish we had more time in Armidale to try their pizzas.
Fantastic coffee, service and the eggs benedict was off tap. 5 stars out of a possible 4. Yes that good.
I visited Gold Fish Bowl Bakery in Armidale recently. While the coffee wasn’t as hot as I’d prefer, the Avocado Crush, featuring smashed avocado, feta, and a poached egg on sourdough, was absolutely amazing. The flavorful combination of ingredients made up for the slightly lukewarm coffee, making it a satisfying breakfast choice.
