4 months agoStopped by this bakery on our way through Coffs Harbour on our drive back to Brisbane.Ordered a plain beef pie, pork and fennel sausage roll and an iced lemon donut. The beef pie was disappointing, expected a plain minced pie and got a carrot and onion pie with bits of mince. Very heavy on spices, could taste thyme and pepper. I would not recommend it. The pork and fennel sausage roll was quite flavourful and a nice change from the traditional beef sausage roll. The lemon donut was fluffy and had thick and creamy vanilla custard inside, but was lacking in lemon flavour. Perhaps needed more lemon in the icing. Perhaps their sweets are better than the savory options.2 months agoBoth the Thai green curry and vegetable pie were flavourful and filling, like something you would expect from a country kitchen, not your standard, greasy, roadside gas station grey minced mess. The sourdough was dense and filling with a firm crust and a pleasent tartness, the loaf is a generous size. They also have a lovely selection of deli goods, with a particularly good price on Meredith goats cheese IYKYK.3 months agoNot the most aesthetically pleasing cafe I suppose? But the baked goods they have are decent! I’ve tried the chocolate croissant and some of the petit fours which were all very good! The staff are nicea month agoYummy almond milk cappuccino and the most divine carrot cake I’ve ever had! Lovely young ladies serving, look forward to my next visit, thank you.10 months agoThe danish was so big, delicious and cheap! I highly recommend! I also thoroughly enjoyed the baguette and would definitely come back to try more pastries!

Always the first stop every morning we are on the coast.. the most amazing pastry and an all round top woman. This special lady hand delivered our hot cross buns to the hospital on Easter after I had to cancel our order late due to a sick baby.. through hugs and tears I was so touched a stranger could be so kind. A top human, incredible girl boss and it’s a bonus the pastry, bread and coffees are just on point every time.
Bit pricier than what I would usually get but it was totally worth it because the food was all very fresh and tasted amazing! We tried the brulee tart, cinnamon scroll, almond croissant, and pain au choc – my favourite was the brulee tart. Buttery, flakey, sweet and crispy goodness. Mmm!
Only days away until we are reunited with our holiday local. Best coffee in town and always greeted with a warm smile by the friendly staff. Then there is the food, cinni scroll here I come, fresh croissants, and the most extensive specials that I will be talking about as the trips highlight. Not to mention the life changer loaves that will be coming home with us and holidays souvenirs of bread and pastries.
See you soon Peach and Wolf
A great small detour off the highway for a sweet or savoury morning breakfast ? The cinnamon buns a perfectly inperfect with crispy flaky pastry and just the right amount of spice…. The sausage roll is a mammoth taste ?explosion with just the right amount of meat to pastry !!
Be sure to stop by!
An almond croissant is my measure – anywhere. Even in my freezer for a fortnight and reheated it is definitely a 10 ! The best ever!
And the Life Changing Loaf! Am always on the search for a solid bread. This is beyond a 10 !! Thank you. Only loaf comparable I found in Napier, NZ.
